“Lovely cottage”
Reviewed April 16, 2018 for a stay in April 2018

Very well equipped cottage in a beautiful part of Wales.
Lovely coastal and rural scenery right on your doorstep, a lovely local shop just a stone's throw away.
The owner was very helpful and easily contacted with a wealth of information about the local area.
We will be visiting again later in the year.

“"Perfect place for Snowdonia "”
Reviewed April 15, 2018 for a stay in April 2018

This cosy cottage TY UCHAF is set back off the road, ideal for families and excellent value for money. You can take a lovely strole on the local beach which is fifteen minutes walk followed by great food in local pubs which we found all to be very friendly.(Tonys do great takeout pizza).
If you wish to cook the cottage is excellent for self catering.
The owner Bob keeps you up to date with everything and is only a phone call away.
The location is truly beautiful, cant wait for our return.

“Cozy, lovely cottage”
Reviewed December 29, 2017 for a stay in December 2017

Lovely place, the owner supplied us with everything we could need; maybe more fitted for warmer seasons however I would avoid August as seems there could be a caravan invasion in the area. Amazing landscapes, 2 steps away from Barmouth and Harlech.
Overall happy, many thanks!

“Another fantastic stay!”
Reviewed November 28, 2017 for a stay in October 2017

We have visited this excellent cottage many times and each time we have found it to be superbly equipped and very clean. The time of year meant that it was quite cold on arrival, but there were plenty of heaters provided and it soon warmed up! Having the luxury of a bath and a shower was a welcome advantage and there was always lots of hot water!
We had a meal at The Victoria hotel a couple of miles away which was excellent value and we visited Betws y coed and the woodland roller coaster attraction just up the road, which is well worth a visit.
Snowdonia is a beautiful part of the world with many new attractions being added each year and the cottage provides an excellent base from which to explore.

“Fantastic Cottage”
Reviewed September 1, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Another great holiday at Ty Uchaf. A great cottage in a great location. The cottage is clean and fantastically equipped. A great family kitchen if you want to cook and all sit down and catch up on your day out. WIFI almost mandatory now so you can check your emails etc. The outhouse is great as it has a washing machine and tumble dryer if needed. Great sized bedrooms, and a fantastic big bathroom, with a bath and walk in shower. The Spar shop down the road has an award winning butchers inside, fantastic Beef, Salt Marsh Lamb, burgers etc. Harlech now has a fantastic Cheese shop & Bakers a real foodie destination. Back to the cottage a fantastic cottage , well equipped, clean, comfortable and fantastic for discovering the local area. We will be booking again. A great credit to the owner in providing such a great place to enjoy your holiday. 5* cottage in a 5* location

“Great Cottage with excellent facilities for the price”
Reviewed August 28, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

The cottage is in an ideal location to explore North Wales. Luckily we went when the weather was good so enjoyed several days on the superb beaches all within a very short drive (this could be a walk for those without young children!). The cottage itself has everything needed for a self-catering holiday and a bit more. The kitchen was well equipped and the out-house was great for storing beach stuff and also had a washing machine & dryer.

In the evening, the outside area is a real sun-trap and enjoys a lot of the evening sun. With it being out of the wind, it was a lovely spot to eat outside after a day at the beach.

All in all, we would have no hesitation booking the cottage again and hope to revisit again next year.
