“LOOKING FORWARD TO RETURNING!”
Reviewed July 21, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

This is our second stay at the cottage, and we probably enjoyed it more than last time as we knew what the cottage had to offer so it was really like a "home from home". I was pleased, as some times returning to the same location and accomodation is a dissapointment - definately not in this case! We also knew the area a bit more this time, so we could plan better. The cottage was spotless on arrival as last visit, with everything we needed to enjoy our much needed break to the full. The kennels and large garden make it an ideal stay for us as we bring our dogs with us (of course), and it was funny to see how they seemed to remember their last "holiday" here, that was particularly pleasing for us as one of them is very nervous in different places. The cottage is situated in an ideal area for us for walking, mountain biking, etc. and is easy to get from coast to mountains in minimum time. We are looking forward to returning next year, hopefully for two weeks this time.

“Christmas stay”
Reviewed December 29, 2014 for a stay in December 2014

I stayed here during the Christmas period with my family and our little dog. None of us wanted to leave by the end of the week! The house is amazing and much bigger than the pictures make it look. There were 6 of us, all adults, and we had plenty of room to unwind in the house.

The house had been decorated for Christmas and it was very tastefully done. Firewood was left out for us and we made use of the wood burning stove every day! The house warms up very quickly with the central heating too. All in all, very cosy.

The house is very well equipped with books, games and movies (vhs oddly). The kitchen has everything you might need too. I managed to cook Christmas dinner for 6 with no issues anyway.

Should you decide to venture outside, there's is plenty to do in the surrounding beautiful villages. Not to mention the amazing coastline! I'd recommend having a car for ease of access, but a bus doors go from outside the house to Barmouth or Harlech

“Brilliant cottage”

I just spent a week in this lovely cottage with my husband, two grown up daughters and teenage granddaughter and my elder daughter's 2 dogs. The cottage has everything anyone could want (apart from free-view tv upstairs according to my daughters and granddaughter). The internet is good, the rooms are large and the garden is a dog's dream, large enough for them to play in and chase frisbees. There are secure kennels if you want to go for a meal without the dogs and a lovely caravan for young children to play in. Everything in the cottage was immaculate and we will certainly be visiting it again.

Thank you so much for finding the time to write a review for our holiday cottage. So glad you enjoyed your stay. We decided to just provide the one TV with connection to TV channels....it is difficult, we like to encourage families to get outside if at all possible, with the odd bit of TV watching....but with teenagers ourselves, we know the pressure is on from them to provide all that they have from home. Thanks again for your great comments, really appreciated. Dave and Gill Tomkins

“Beautiful, cosy cottage set in stunning surroundings”
Reviewed October 18, 2014 for a stay in October 2014

We visited with our two children age 13 and 10 and our dog. The cottage is perfect. It has three good sized bedrooms, a dining area, living room, spacious kitchen and two bathrooms. The garden is fantastic and one of the biggest highlights of our holiday was watching our greyhound sprint freely around the garden and my eldest daughter having the freedom to play 'jumping' with him! There is a little caravan in the garden too that my youngest daughter loved to play in and there's still lots of space for the grown ups to lounge around in if the weather suits. The cottage is walking distance from a dog friendly pub and an excellent one 'The Victoria Inn' is close by too. This has got to be one of our favourite holidays - stunning cottage, gorgeous location for long walks, plenty to do and see and then back to the cottage in the evenings to a warm log fire. The owners have worked hard to make this a cosy, family cottage and we will definitely be returning.

“Ideal secure dog friendly accommodation”
Reviewed September 14, 2014 for a stay in September 2014

We chose this property as it included kennels which made it ideal for days we wanted to go mountain biking or other times when it was too hot to leave dogs in the car and the dogs had to "stay at home" but we still wanted to take the dogs on holiday with us. The cottage proved to be the ideal solution. The very large garden was totally safe and secure so we could allow our dogs to run free while we were with them. The cottage itself was clean and well presented. All the mod cons were included and the accommodation was well thought out. There was a garage, shops and many restaurants close by. The area itself was ideally located for coast and mountains. All in all an extremeley enjoyable stay. High recommended and hope to return soon.

“Lovely cottage with excellent facilities”
Reviewed June 29, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

The cottage is very nice, it had everything you could possibly need, including plastic plates etc for use with the undercover BBQ. The rooms were very nicely decorated and set out perfectly for maximum comfort. The garden was also excellent with plenty of seating for all and is also fully enclosed so perfect for our dog. The only downside being the road noise in the morning but that was easily fixed by closing the windows and wooden blinds.
