“Beautiful!”
Review of Tiki Beach

Tiki Beach
Reviewed February 9, 2014

This was the culmination of an island tour from Royal Caribbean. The beach was beautiful. All the people on the beach... not so much! However, the beach attendants were johnny-on-the-spot at helping you get settled and making sure you get your drinks. Since we aren't drinkers, we didn't get much service after that but it was fine. We were enjoying the crystal clear water. Make sure to wear water shoes. This is not a sand beach once you get into the water. Walking in the water requires you to watch where you put your feet. There are rocks, shells, and creatures! But you can see exactly where you're stepping. It was beautiful. I can't say it was beautiful enough. Loved the beach.

7-mile beach is my absolute favorite beach in the Caribbean. It has crystal clear turquoise waters and smooth, clean sands. If you get dropped off at Tiki Beach, you can walk to the left to what they call Sea Grape Beach that is a short walk on the beach and gets you away from the overcrowding that happens once the cruise ships unload passengers. But just a short walk takes you to more quiet beach front where trees also are available for those that need to get out of the sun some. You can literally float on your back in the water and not go anywhere due to no current pulling you one way or the other and very small lapping waves. It's gorgeous there and will definitely keep returning.....this was my 3rd time there. From the port, the taxi ride per person is $5.

We were here on a cruise with Carnival we had a great time. The beach is a bit rocky so be careful. The rum punch was very good. I would def recommend when in Grand Cayman.
