Darren, Dianna and Winston gave us a wonderful adventure with the sting rays! The sting rays were so friendly!
The staff was very knowledgeable about the sting rays:

We toured with Cayman Fantasy Watersports Adventures. Our guide, Darrin, was all we hoped for. His patience, politeness, humor, knowledge were exceptional. We held, petted, massaged and even kissed Suzie the Stingray. Wonderful four hours!

We couldn't believe just how much interaction there was going to be between the stingrays and us.
Really good fun and very educational.

I took the breakfast cruise on a catamaran from Red Sail Sports. Time to arrive at the sandbar was about 30 minutes. Bay was calm ( I have motion sickness and had no problem). The shallow barrier reef seems to protect the bay from any noticeable swell. Plenty of time to swim with the gentle rays and additional time to snorkel the barrier reef. The boat itself was extremely nice and we were allowed to utilize the front nets and rear scoop areas of the boat while underway. On our return we were under sail power (wind condition dependent). Due to this being an early morning cruise, we had the sandbar to ourselves for about a half hour until the second tour boat arrived. Highly recommend Red Sail Sports for a relaxing excursion. The extra fee was worth it.

We booked this excursion in September a day after we arrived and were lucky it was off season because several were already booked. This was the best tour we’ve ever been on....all 5 members of my family agree! The boat operators were beyond friendly & made sure we had photos and videos using our own cameras and they even recommended local places to eat. These gentle creatures did frighten my daughter before she got off the boat but the tour guides were so patient and she ended up touching them and having the time of her life! Please make this a part of your vacation, you won’t regret it.
