This one was ojr favorite, the snorkel was the best, and the beach is soooo beautiful. We bring all the family and they enjoy the snorkel, is very shallow max depth was lik 10 ft and a lot of fish....

And is a public bathroom, that you can take a shower.

Smith Cove is easily accessed directly from the main George Town to Bodden Town road with parking readily available. The beach is small and sandy with rocky headlands making the setting very picturesque and providing natural jumping off points for those wishing to "bomb" into the sea. There is easy access into the sea but it does shelve quite quickly meaning that non-swimmers would need to be more wary here than on many other beaches on the island.

Just off shore there is a reef which rises to a rocky point above water level and which attracts many species of fish. As a weak swimmer and novice snorkeller I found this a very good location to become accustomed to the equipment ahead of slightly more adventurous subsequent trips.

When we were there in late May, the sea was warm and clear and the beach had a few visitors but was relatively quiet. It was nice to have proper toilet and shower facilities available on the beach allowing us to get cleaned up before setting off to continue our tour around the coast road. I am sure that more experienced snorkellers could happily while away most of the day between sun and sea but it would be necessary to bring enough food and drink for your planned stay if you do not have transport or wish to lose your chosen spot as there are no refreshment facilities available.

A very nice place to break your itinerary or for a longer stay provided you are adequately provisioned.

Another picturesque spot along the main road outside of Georgetown heading towards Boddentown. Probably the best combination of sandy beach surround by iron rock. It's a great spot for a dramatic photograph with dramatic sea swells as the beautiful water bounces off the iron rock.

enjoyed the cliffs and surrounding area - a little too rough to snorkel~ nice beach area and those who were brave jumped from the small cliffs to the water

Easy access into water, with lots of fish and there are facilities on the beach for your comfort. A good way to spend part of the day and enjoy the ocean and the views.
