Lots of fan coral making a comeback. Good variety of fish. Bring a picnic, towels and your gear. The bathroom facilities are very clean and there is an outdoor shower for rinsing off. Just be ready for lots of chicks, hens and a rooster or two to join you!

Obviously it depends on the whether, but this IS a great beach and snorkel spot. Easy entry safe for kids. Right off of the bat we were greated by at least four barracuda that were feeding off of a huge school of chromis they had trapped right next to shore. The reef is in pretty bad shape but gets better and better the further you get out from shore. Lots of fan, brain and table top corals. I have no idea about some of the no fish comments. There are tons and a wide variety. We saw a school of cuttlefish....awesome.

We stopped by here twice and the view is beautiful. The seas were too rought the days we came but others told us that typically the water is like glass. We plan on coming back

We loved Smith Cove! A small beach leads right into crystal clear water where you can swim, snorkel and explore! Very cool snorkeling to the left with lots of rocks for fish to hide in and awesome areas to explore to the right...walk over the rocks to find pools and a great spot to jump in and be washed back to shore. One of our favorite spots on the island!

Diving about 100 yards out was excellent. Rent tanks at Edens Rock and shore dive at Smith Cove (also at Edens Rock)
