We happened to try this spot on a very windy day when the surf was up and the water was churned up so it was hard to see anything. It seemed that the coral here was not as alive as other places.

We visited Smith Cove several times durring our stay. We had a little trouble finding it although we drove past it many times. The actual name on the signs read Bacardi Smith. The area is not very large but we never felt crowded. The snorkeling was excellent and very picturesque. There were many different species of fish including several large puffers. Very relaxing and plenty of shade. There are restrooms on the grounds as well.

My first time to Grand Cayman was amazing. I fell in love with snorkeling and this was one of the spots we stopped at. We had the beach to ourselves and were able to see so much in the clear water. Well worth a stop plus they have some parking and restrooms along the beach. The coral reefs also add to the beauty!

A great little beach which is well served by having picnic benches, toilets, parking and showers.

Best times to go during the week are first thing in the morning or late in the afternoon. Weekends are very busy with the locals, so best to avoid unless you like being a sardine.

Water is crystal clear with some great snorkeling to be had if you're willing to fin out a distance from the beach.to see the good stuff.

Rubbish left by inconsiderate people and the small beach being mobbed during busy times prevent it from being a 5 star hit, but still worth a visit if you time it right.

This is a must see/visit while on Grand Cayman. Often deserted (especially during the week), this is a tucked away small beach that is pretty much unknown to the masses. Very good snorkling with an underwater reef and fish for sure. Bring your camera for sure ! Located just south of George Town and just past The Grand Old House Resraurant. Parking along the road or across the street.
