“Scenic, quiet little cove”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2012

Called Smith Barcadere on some maps, this is a little gem. We went there to snorkel and found it to be a nice, scenic, quiet little spot. Very safe feeling (course, the island is anyway) and worth a stop. Happened to drive by later in the week and spotted a wedding underway.

“nice beach - no fish”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 22, 2012

This is a nice beach with picnic tables, outdoor shower, and parking across the road, but it is not for the interested snorkler. There are simply not many fish to see.

“Beautiful water”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2012

If you have time, make a stop at Smith Cove. It is in a nice part of town so it is cool to see the big homes. The water is clear and there are no rocks so jump right in.

“Grand Cayman Road Kill”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 10, 2012

A beautiful spot to enjoy the sun, sand and fresh air! We plan to snorkle there next year as we didn't have our gear with us. My husband's hat blew off his head as we went to cross the road and it was run over by an oncoming car! We will always remember that spot!

“Great snorkeling conditions.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 1, 2012

This is about 2 miles south of downtown Georgetown off the main road. Great location on the southwest part of island. Not too many tourists. Ample parking across street. Because of the cove layout, water is relatively calm, not too wavy. But the water was a little murky the day we went. We saw lots of different varieties of fish.
