we enjoyed the walk in nature as a family. I was a little disappointed that there was only one orchid in bloom but the rest of the displays were lovely. We did see the blue iguanas and thought they were really cool

I guess I have been spoiled by the botanical garden in Hilo, Hawaii, because I was disappointed here. I saw the great reviews, but when we were there earlier in July, there were absolutely no blooms in the orchid garden, and very few flowers blooming anywhere in the park. We kept walking the entire place, because I kept hoping to find something in bloom! We did see a couple of the blue iguanas, which saved the trip from being a total fail. The blue iguanas were a very special sight to see. It was very hot during our visit, and we regretted not having our water bottles with us. We might have had a better experience if we had instead taken the property's 11am blue iguana tour.

The grounds here are nicely kept up! By all means, there is a tour taxi lady name " Lady D", she will give you above and beyond tour services here. She will ever get out and actually tour you around and inform you the highlights.....

We very much enjoyed walking through this gorgeous property complete with many wild blue iguanas. We stumbled upon one mischievous and very large blue iguana who appeared to be guarding what he felt was HIS boardwalk. My husband and I walked right past him but our teen daughters felt him to be a bit intimidating. We have however discussed this particular iguana and have enjoyed viewing the photos we took of him many times since our trip to the garden. The Gardens were so beautifully laid out, tropical and a worth while visit.

Great value. For $10/person, it's hard to beat. We walked around and saw beautiful scenes. They have different gardens to walk through and abundant wildlife. We went on a slow day (first thing Tuesday morning) and just about had the place to ourselves. We did not do the iguana tour for additional $, but we did see a few blue iguanas in our walk through the gardens and the Woodland Trail.
