“Stingraysailing.com is the best!”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

A group of 4 of us booked a snorkelling & stingray swim excursion for Jan. 9th with Stingray Sailing because we had read such good reviews about them, and they did not disappoint! We arrived on the Mariner of the Seas but prefer to book with the locals rather than through the cruise lines......far more personal experiences for a fraction of the cost and without the cruise crowds and it's nice to support the local people who can provide you with far more information. It couldn't have been easier. Michelle was very prompt with her emails and explanations about the excursion. She met us at the cruise terminal and drove us to the catamaran and was very friendly and helpful. Captain Chip and Buster were great hosts, informative and fun and were very aware of getting us back to the ship on time. There was only 6 of us on board plus Chip & Buster, which was wonderful - more like an outing with friends. We saw other boats crowded with people and realized how lucky we were. The snorkelling was great and the sting-rays were absolutely awesome! When you go, don't forget to bring an underwater camera. If you don't have one, you can buy disposable cameras which are not very expensive at all. We were provided with fresh fruit and water and you could buy cold drinks for a very reasonable price. There's also a place to buy snacks right close to the meeting place at the ship terminal if you care to bring anything else with you. It was a wonderful day and an experience that we will never forget. We hope to get back to Grand Cayman again one day and, when we do, we will be sure to book with Stingray Sailing again. They're good people and we can't recommend them enough. Thanks again, Chip & Buster, for a memorable day!!

“Not to miss!”
Reviewed January 24, 2013 via mobile

I have to admit I was a little reluctant to go on this tour, but once we arrived at the sandbar I realized how awesome this experience would be. Definitely not to be missed. The stingrays are amazing creatures. Chip and his staff were very helpful and informative.

“One-of-a-kind experience”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

If you haven't gone to Stingray City, you need to and you need to book it with Captain Chip. They take care of you from the moment you step on board until the moment you step off. Stingray City is one of the coolest things I've ever experienced.

“We had a great day”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

Four of us gals went on this excursion. It was great. I had no trouble getting into or out of the water. Chip our captain was great along with his Dad, they got us to and from the sand bar safely. Michael help us all in the water with the rays and took some great photos that we will cherish. We highly recommend the outing

“Great experience the second time around”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

We booked our trip via the Internet and selected Stingray Sailing based on their reviews and their quick response to all our questions via e-mail. Michelle Whitney answered every question we had and sicne we had been to Grand Caymen before and had visited Stingray City, we wanted to expererience a family oriented excursion sine this would be our kids first time there. Everything was great, from the moment we met Michelle, to the time we got on board with Capt Chip adn made us feel right at home to the moment we got back to the dock. It was one of the most exciting and at the same time relaxing excursions we have had on a boat. Capt Chip really knows what he is doing and being a native he knew a lot of history of the island. Being a boater myself I am very cautiuos of local Captains and how they navigate. No worries here. I would recommend Stingray Sailings if you are looking for a small group family type experience with a Capt that knows the waters extremely well, becasue that it is his backyard!!!
