“Convenient Casual Dining on Seven Mile Beach”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 21, 2012

Ate there twice recently. Food was good and service was okay. The best part for us was the location (in a strip mall around the corner from Sunshine Suites) which did not necessitate a drive or bus ride. The menu is diverse and includes salads, burgers, Mexican, etc., so there is something for everyone.

“Nice menu selection, good service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 15, 2012

Ate an early dinner there. The inside looks like an upscale US diner - pictures of Marylin Monroe on the wall and oldies music playing. The menu is far from that - while you can order standard diner fare, you can also get indian, thai and caribbean dishes there. I had the Caribbean chicken curry which was very tasty. The service was prompt and friendly and the place had a nice atmosphere. My only nitpick was that the vegetables (including the edamame appetizer) that I had and my companion were both rather overcooked. The appetizers (pot stickers and samosas) were very tasty.

The price is reasonable, too, by Cayman standards.

“Typical diner”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2012

Not a ton of choices for vegetarians nor kids but for everyone else the menu is long. The food was decent, the portions reasonable, and the prices pretty good for Grand Cayman. This is not a must-see though as it feels like a lot of restaurants you'd find in the US. Typical burgers & fries for lunch and omelets for breakfast (not served all day). I would recommend the mango salad dressing.

“Lunch on our last day”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2012

It's always hard to leave Grand Cayman. We usually just grab something quick on our way to the airport. But we wanted a little more than a quick hamburger and our friends at Grand Caymanian recommended Eats. Great choice! I had the shrimp stir-fry and it was fantastic. Eats is easy to get to, has a very broad menu, great service and our lunch was excellent.

“Choices and portions!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2012

If you're looking for both choice and good portions - this is the place. Eats gets quite busy on weekend mornings, so if you're prepared to wait (or get up a little extra early), it's a great option. Lots of easy parking, directly opposite the Westin and friendly service as well.

The food is prepared very quickly - everything from banana pancakes to your traditional American breakfast...you will not walk out of here feeling hungry, that's certain.

The prices are very reasonable (by Cayman standards) for the size of the meal you are getting. If you're dining with a couple of light eaters...you could probably even share a breakfast entree and still be quite satisfied.

Enjoy!
