Description: Café Del Sol (which is Spanish for "Coffee of the Sun") was established in July 4, 2001 as the first internet coffeehouse of its kind in the Cayman Islands. The whole idea behind the company was to provide an inviting yet relaxing "third place" for our customers (home being the first and work the second). It has truly become a place that you can "find yourself" as the company slogan suggests. Cayman's favourite Coffee Shop Café del Sol is a daily necessity for local coffee addicts, a place to meet friends or simply somewhere to get lost in your favourite book. Not only do we offer the best prepared coffee in the Cayman Islands, we also offer a delicious selection of sweet treats and savoury snacks, as well as an assortment of teas and other beverages.

When visiting Cayman I always go to Cafe del Sol for a really great cup of coffee and a bit of "down" time. The Wifi is fast and reliable and the staff are always attentive and welcoming - they remember what I order! I can just walk over to the Marquee or take a longer stroll to Camana Bay. If I'm downtown I enjoy the Fort Street location. No matter which one I go to I am always pleased with the service, the coffee and the amazing wraps and sandwiches. The sandwich I ordered was a freshly made turkey wrap. My daughters enjoyed the Fruit Smoothies and would walk over to the Marquee Plaza location by themselves in the morning. All in all a great place.

Nice, large airy cafe with good coffee and muffins. Good wifi. Bonus of it being adjoined with the book shop.

Came here regularly (the Camana Bay branch) for iced caramel mocchiato & Americano coffee. Lots of pastries on offer but no gluten free options. Free wifi a bonus - but there is free wifi all over Camana Bay! Shady seats & tables outside or air conditioned at tables inside

I frequent Cafe del Sol at least 3 times a week. They have 3 convenient locations on Island. The original in the Marquee Plaze (Seven Mile Beach), the second in George Town and the third in Camana Bay.
The one in town offers outdoor and indoor seating with a convenient location for cruise ship passengers. The original, and first ever coffee house to cayman, has an upstairs lounge and computers. The Camana bay location has a lounge in the back with 4 computers I believe and is connected to the bookstore, Books & Books.
The staff is rotated among the locations, so you get to have great service and your favorite barista wherever you go.
The pastries are not made in house, but are great. You're looking at 5 CI$ for a large slice of cake, 3$ for a scone , 2$ for a muffin etc. Try the carrot cake. Everyone loves it.
I'm a big fan of their frappes, which are always the best.
There are no Starbucks on island, however I do believe some locations offer Starbucks beans on occasion, and Tim Hortons beans.
The sandiches and croissants are great aswell.
There's a reason they have been open for so long.

Stopped in a couple of times for coffee. The first time we had cappuccino that was a bit disappointing. They did better with regular coffee.
