Description: Café Del Sol (which is Spanish for "Coffee of the Sun") was established in July 4, 2001 as the first internet coffeehouse of its kind in the Cayman Islands. The whole idea behind the company was to provide an inviting yet relaxing "third place" for our customers (home being the first and work the second). It has truly become a place that you can "find yourself" as the company slogan suggests. Cayman's favourite Coffee Shop Café del Sol is a daily necessity for local coffee addicts, a place to meet friends or simply somewhere to get lost in your favourite book. Not only do we offer the best prepared coffee in the Cayman Islands, we also offer a delicious selection of sweet treats and savoury snacks, as well as an assortment of teas and other beverages.

Cafe de Sol is nice place for a quiet coffee -- I just wish that the coffee was better. I love a good latte or cappuccino, but am often only moderately happy with the food. Service is very good and the baked goods are quite nice.

This is a great spot for a light breakfast or to grab a coffee and catch up on your emails. Free wifi with purchase, nice selection of fruit and pastries...as well as great coffee creations.

Always looking for free wifi when I get off the ship, and following the crew to this Georgetown local was the ticket. Cafe del Sol calls itself "Not Starbucks" as their internet name, and has equally good coffee, great muffins, good customer service and a speedy internet connection.

We have been using the Cafe Del Sol at the Marquee Plaza for a while now and have found it far superior to Papermans in most ways, especially when it comes to the customer service.

The coffees and teas are varied with plenty of selection, they have plenty of fresh pastries, bagels although the muffins aren't the best in the world they are still nice enough. Fresh made sandwiches are made to order as well as a good selection of other foodstuffs to choose from.

The shop is clean, tidy and well organised with service being prompt, polite and friendly. Free wifi and plenty of reading material will keep you entertained and if you don't like noisy kids, then there is an upstairs area for over 18's only which will give you peace and quiet or you can opt for one of the tables outside.

This is a highly recommended coffee shop at the Marquee Plaza and well worth your time and patronage. Enjoy.
