My husband and I visited Peter Island for a week in June 2014 for our honeymoon and had a great time! The highlights for us were wine tasting with Rimple (he is amazing and knows wine from around the world), the free snorkeling/sailing/paddle boarding, the food and the private beaches. We met Rimple towards the beginning of the week and he helped with our wine selections all week long, even taking the time to sit and chat at times. We spent each morning snorkeling and paddle boarding and loved the non-crowded beaches, especially White Bay and Honeymoon beaches where we had private huts. All of the food was amazing as well. This resort definitely focuses their efforts on the quality of food, wine and cocktails. Anything you order will be excellent!

The only thing that was disappointing for us was the customer service of the front desk and room cleaning staff. We had quite a few reservations that weren't recorded somehow and when we asked to have our phone fixed mid-week so we could order room service and make reservations, it was never fixed (despite my husband asking about it each day). The folks at the front desk at times seemed like we were an inconvenience when we asked questions and didn't seem to know much about the resort and how to help with our questions or problems.

All in all, we loved Peter Island because of Rimple, the food/wine and amazing beaches! We would recommend it to anyone as long as you're not expecting five star service from the front desk (which didn't ruin our wonderful week).

Room Tip: We loved the villas on the beach!

We spent 4 days on Peter Island - it was truly delightful. The beachfront suite was spacious and a few steps to the gorgeous beach. A highlight was the Sunset trip to view the setting sun over Tortola - and to sip Champagne while doing so! The staff were great and made our stay very comfortable. The food at both restaurants was of very high quality and we are so glad we visited the island.

I live a short boat ride from Peter Island and I take every opportunity to visit. It is exactly as you would expect of a top quality Caribbean resort. The beach is gorgeous, sloping gently to the warm blue sea. Snorkeling, you will see some amazing sights, maybe even a turtle. The food is to die for, service impeccable and the spa is just heavenly. The place is worthy of a mention in the top ten!

My wife and 2 daughters just returned from an 8 night retreat to Peter Island. We stayed in adjoining Beachfront Suites 211 and 212. There are 5 four-plex units at the end of Deadman's Beach which comprise the Beachfront Suites. Our rooms were on the second floor which is more private and afford a much better view than the ground floors.
Deadman's beach is essentially yours. There are few guests on the beach and they mainly congregate between beach huts 12-15 which are close to the beach bar and grill. We stayed by beach hut #1. The huts and loungers are reserved for overnight guests and resort security is quick to run the boat people off Deadman's (the main beach). Honeymoon Beach and White Beach resort guests are not as fortunate and are over-run with boat people squatters.
The Baths excursion is a must.
Rimple's Wine tasting and dinner are both over the top and well worth the reservations.
The food is 5 star excellent at all venues.
The drinks are all good......try the Pain Killer and Ginger Lemonade for local flavor.
Deadman's Beach provides yellow flags for each beach hut which you simply raise to have drinks and eats brought to your resting spot......Susan was premier.
The staff goes out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The guests, many with family, are reserved and exceedingly friendly----the ambiance would preclude otherwise.
We will be back.

My husband and I stayed at Peter Island at the end of June and had a fabulous experience. From the minute we arrived everyone was very friendly and wanted to make sure that we had a wonderful experience. We did the mountain at sunset, private dinner on the beach, 1.5 hour snorkeling experience with Mo, ate way too much at both restaurants and simply laid on the beach doing nothing. A highlight for me was my husband's gift of a wrap and massage at the spa - it was wonderful. A highlight for my husband was drinking at the bar with the fabulous cocktails made by Captain. The staff were great - they learned our names quickly and always greeted us by our names. I highly recommend this resort to anyone who wants a taste of paradise.

What can I say about this resort. We absolutely loved it. The resort did everything they could to ensure you were comfortable and all needs met. Really great food and drinks,Staff was very helpful and friendly. This resort is not cheap and the service and rooms reflect this. You do get what you pay for and this place reflects the cost, unlike a lot of Caribbean island resorts. I have been traveling the islands for 20 years and this is in the top all any island and resort. GREAT PLACE PERIOD.

Room Tip: The new suites on the water at Dead Mans Cove are the best

A very updated hotel facilities and rooms. We stayed with our two little daughters in a beach front room right in Deadman's Beach, which was excellent. The room was spacious everywere, including the restroom and with very updated in terms of furniture and decuration, but carefully keeping its beautiful rustic beach resort look. Deadman's Beach is beautiful. The resort has an Island Tour in which they take you to see most beautiful high mountain views of the BVI. They have a separate private beach - White Bay Beach with only 6 huts for those who love to be in an isolated beach, and they also have a solitary Beach - Honeymoon Beach to which they only take one couple at a time for visit to enable them to enjoy themselves! The food in the resort is excellent with a a good wine listing and selection in the Tradewings Restaurant. But keep in mind that since the resort only have that restaurant in most of the nights it will be expensive, but of high quality. Breakfasts were excellent. Everybody should try Grandma Jeanne's French Toasts which she will deliver herself to your tabble. Even though this resors might seem to be for just couples, we had an excellent time with our daughters and they loved their private Island! We will definetively be back someday!

Room Tip: Beachfront rooms are excellent! Great size and excellent updated rooms with an excellent view.
