This restaurant offers outstanding drinks, each made by hand, fresh ingredients only!! The food was superb!! We had both lunch and dinner there. Don't miss it, even if you do not stay on the island, sail into the cove and dine with them!! pamela maxey

The food was pretty good -- not outstanding. The service was pretty good -- not outstanding.
$59 for a fish burger, iced tea, key lime tart and espresso at lunch time is over the top, I believe. However I guess I could view it as the price one pays for enjoying a few hours on the beautiful beach.

We stayed on Peter Island for a week in October, 2009. This and Tradewinds are the only two places to eat on the private island. The food was fantastic and the menu selection varied from day-to-day. As with all other places in the BVIs, service is thorough yet "chill." Don't feel as if you've been forgotten...that's just their pace of life on the island. The food is incredible! The ambiance in the open-air restaraunt with the ocean and beach only a few feet away is incredible! If you're seeking a memorable experience, I definitely recommend dinner over lunch here. The prices are pretty much the same and it's much cooler and relaxed at night. The prawn cakes are a wonderful appetizer. The sea bass was my favorite entree, followed by the grouper. The Mahi Mahi sandwich made an awesome lunch! The sorbet is a great dessert! I can't wait to travel back to the island in a few years. For anyone who has eaten at Mama's Fish House in Maui, the ambiance here feels very similar. Oh, and don't forget to chat with Vincent from food and beverage while you're there. He's very entertaining and full of fun info!

My husband and I stayed on Tortola but ferried over to Peter Island for dinner. That particular night dinner was being served at Deadman's. Perfectly fine and lovely. Dinner was really expensive (no surprise there). Otherwise, kinda forgetable.
