Live on Virgin Gorda and have considered Anegada my fave "getaway" place for over 30 years. headed over this past Wed with a pal for the day and was quite surprised to find almost everything closed! Discovering my usual breakfast eatery closed, (just after 8 am) headed over to Anegada Beach Club for the first time in hopes of finding some breakfast. What a pleasant surprise to find "Owen" the Manager to be extremely friendly and accommodating to us! They normally serve breakfast only if they have "house guests" of which they did not BUT quickly offered a pot of his "personal coffee blend" and if we were willing to wait a few minutes, would put together a sandwich from their lunch menu! Within a very short time we were enjoying our early "brunch" and I have to tell you, the "BLLT" (bacon, lobster, lettuce, tomatoe sandwich) was deelish! Headed to the beach (beautiful and pristine offering a small watersports facility) for a couple of hours then over to Loblolly for the afternoon. Highly recommend Anegada Beach Club for a stopover and know you'll be in great hands with Owen....kudos to you my friend...we WILL be back!
