My husband and went here last year for a much needed vacation. Even though we were there the last week prior to closing for hurricane season, the staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. The view from our room was the stuff that dreams are made of, you just can't beat the turquoise water of the BVI. There are tons of activities, if that is your kind of thing, but if you are the lay on the beach type of person, you couldn't pick a prettier spot. The restaurants are really good with a nice laid-back island vibe. You should definitely visit Saba Rock while there, BEYC will be more than happy to provide you with a water taxi ride. be sure to go for the Tarpon feeding and Happy Hour, it's a site you shouldn't miss. All in all this is a fantastic place to go for a beach vacation, no matter what your preferences are. My husband and I are already planning a return trip for 2013.

I expected it to be pricey but we stayed on the dock for a few nights, ate at some of their restaurants, rented Hobie Cats, and took on supplies for a very reasonable cost.
We only stayed at the marina because after a few days of cruising we needed to take on some groceries, water and fuel. However, I would go back for just the marina.
Really friendly staff everywhere throughout the resort, a great location, and very reasonable dock fees. The kids loved the pool, the dock was in the right place to hear the music at night without being deafened, and the showers are clean, conveniently located, and big. Just what you want after a few days of showering on board.
They hosted a party on the dock for everyone alongside and we got to meet some other families, swap stories, and get cruising advice.
Will definitely include BEYC in any other BVI trips we take.

Saba Rock is across the bay and it too is a must see. you could spend several days here. its only time

We visited Bitter End Yacht club while on a boat (at one of the mooring balls) and decided to go there again for a stay during the last few days of our holidays. They have a few beaches and offer lots of watersport facilities. The place is very relaxed, rooms are spacious and clean and @ the restaurants they serve great food and cocktails. Watersport activities (taking out a surf board or a Hobie or an IC 24 f.e.) are included in the package (depending on the package you select of course) which is very relaxed and keeps you active (of course you can also relax on the beach all day if yo like) We would like to give a great compliment to all members of staff...all are so friendly and helpfull... we really felt welcome and at home. Thanks for all and hopefully see you again!

Our family has stayed here five times and have enjoyed every minute of this relaxing spot. No tv's and no WiFi in your room means everyone has a restful sleep. Rustic, but peaceful decor set the tone for relaxation. Read a book in the hammock on your private porch with incredible views of the crystal blue waters below or set off on a snorkel adventure. You can rest on the beach or sail to your heart's content in the protected waters just steps away from your room.
The food is included in your stay and changes daily so you won't get bored. Open air BBQ or celebratory dinners are served beachside with fantastic fungi bands playing traditional island music make the evenings truly special! Winston, the pastry chef will spoil you rotten with his delicious desserts and the staff will become your best friend by the end of your stay.
It's not cheap, but it's a sure thing for a family trip. Couples will love the privacy and ability to have intimate private dinners and massages on the beach. There is literally something for everyone!

Room Tip: Make sure to book the Admiral's package if you enjoy water sports and excursions. That way they...

Part are a bit tired and the food occasionally leaves something to be desired, but BEYC is stil the one for service, amenities and all you need in Virgin Gorda. Service at the pool is a must, and the mini beaches are actuall a treat. Go to the ocean side ( away form the bay) for the original view, from 1492 ( kinda), and skip the Anegada trip - you should go there on your own. I'll be back

if you want a fancy schmancy place with wifi, bells, whistles, crazy spa ammenities and turkish bath towels - go to biras creek. if you want friendly staff, total relaxation, great sailing, delicious lemon crush drinks, and to simply drop-out - than BEYC is perfect. While some people complain there is a lack of beaches, clearly those people did not try taking a boat anywhere - you can paddleboard, take a whaler, sail any of the myriad boats about 200 yards to gorgeous private sand beaches. The hotel rooms are sparse - but there' just for late night activities or sleeping anyway. The food is noticeably blah, but that's the BVI - they just can't seem to get good chefs or fresh vegetables. And while you have to go out of your way to find wifi and connect to the office... isn't that why you take vacation?!

Room Tip: no need for AC because of the always-present breeze, so save the $$ and get the beachfront not north...
