“Awesome little island”
Reviewed July 26, 2014

This tiny island is located right next to Bitter End and for such a small island it has a lot to offer. It has a tiny hotel (we didn't stay, because we had our catamaran), a restaurant and bar, which has good affordable food and drinks!. Cute little souvenir shop. They have a portion of the HMS Rhone anchor with sea life in a small open aquarium. At 5pm they feed the Giant Tarpin fish that come to the island to be fed. The best thing I like about this island is they have a water taxi that is free to go back and forth from Bitter End to Saba Rock.

“Surrounded by Catamarans and Schools of Giant Tarpon!”
Reviewed July 24, 2014

We visited Saba Rock Restaurant while on our honeymoon and were stunned how picturesque it's location was. What stood out right away as the ferryboat etched closer to Bitter End was vast numbers of sail boats and Catamarans, with Saba Rock smack in the middle of them all. The restaurant itself serves decent food and isn't wildly over-priced like it is at Little Dix Resort and Leverick's Resort. The tiny man-made island also has a few shops and a second floor for viewing. If you're staying at North End, we suggest staying at the Bitter End Resort. Avoid Leverick's Resort.

The reason we say 3/5 stars is because the ferrymen will demand that you spend money only at Saba Rock and not Bitter End Resort, which are a literally separated by 200ft of very shallow water (<4ft). No one should be treated like that, especially honeymooners. Appalling.

“a party place”
Reviewed July 7, 2014

if you really like boozin and boatin this is the spot for you. We're not huge drinkers, so we came for lunch. Lunch was mediocre, my three thin pieces of mahi mahi were tasty, but for $20 I expected more. My fries were mostly soggy. We came mostly to find the geocache that's hidden here, watch the kite surfers, and just check it out. The tarpon feeding at 5pm is a big hit, but we saw plenty of them while snorkeling and just from docks and beaches in general so we didn't stick around for it. Small gift shop with limited merch. Free ferry boat ride though!

“Glad we saw it but, wouldn't go back”
Reviewed July 2, 2014

We had read reviews so only went for a drink (okay it was 3). We ended up with the grumpiest waitress on the island! We ordered mojitos. On our second drink she brought us the wrong drink. When we brought it to her attention, she rolled her eyes & stomped away with the strawberry daiquiris. What seemed like half an hour she came back with the correct drink. No apology, or friendly comment to make things right.the table next to us seemed to have the nicest server on the planet, we were not so lucky. We walked around Saba Rock and it was cool to see it but, on a return trip we wouldn't bother to go back based on the less than stellar reviews of the food & poor service we received.

“Ok food, great view”
Reviewed June 24, 2014

This place is basically on it's own little island so the view is amazing from all angles! They have hammocks outside and you can see the fish swim up to this underwater light at night. The food was average and very expensive. Probably worth checking it out, but I don't know if I would go back again.
