Be prepared for the ferry to not run on schedule. Everything runs on "island time" which means the schedule is not really a schedule. The night we went over the ferry was over 30 minutes late. The food was average.

What a great experience our dinner stop here was! We had reservations and were seated promptly. We inquired about lobster, and the manager came over and told us he was expecting lobsters in very shortly. We placed drink orders and they came quickly. Shortly, the manager came back and brought in live lobsters for us to see! We all had lobster and they were great, properly cooked and nice sides. The manager and staff could not have been more friendly or accomodating. Our friends rate this No. 1 for the trip. No better atmosphere anywhere!

The sunsets are beautiful. Very pretty setting. Great to take the boat there and back to mainland. Food was pretty good. Drinks, especially bloody mary's were great.

Stopped at Saba Rock for an overnight stay. Restaurant had great selection and food was great. We had 2 boats with 14 people - we started with a group of 6 that steadily grew to a group of 12 and Rosie took it all in stride. Service was great, prices were reasonable, gifts shops had a few things not found elsewhere and the gift shop prices were reasonable.

I live in the BVI, and have stood on 63 of the 75 named islands, islets, cays, reefs, rocks, sandbars, and spits.
Saba Rock was one of my first loves, and remains the most amazing place . . .

The view. The food (salad bar!). The resort rooms. The gardens. The beach. The new back deck. The geocache!

And . . . Josey behind the bar is the Most Beautiful Woman in the World.
