“High end city vibe with an island feel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 13, 2014 via mobile

We went for happy hour and l had 2 for 1 tiny bubbles which is champagne with ginger and a lychee fruit. Outstanding. It did strike me odd that there wasn't any food items on happy hour menu. So the restaurant is expensive even at happy hour. The service made the whole experience amazing. Glenn, our server, had us laughing and really made our time there enjoyable. I recommend this restaurant because it is not a typical island experience.

“Very Good Tapas Restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 12, 2014

CocoMaya is an oasis in Spanish Town. Open air, beachfront dining. Tapas-style, small portions. Nice ambience and attentive waitstaff.

“Great food and nice location.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 11, 2014

Coco Maya has consistently good food, the location is nice and the staff are VERY good. Coco Maya is a relatvely new "entrant" to the restaurant scene on Virgin Gorda and is giving other businesses something to sit up and take notice of. Keep up the good work,

“Sophisticated Food and Setting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 3, 2014

Beachfront in Virgin Gorda, this newish restaurant really elevates dining options in the Valley. The menu is a combination of sushi, tapas and full entrees.

Our party of four went for a combination of sushi and tapas. The food quality and presentation was outstanding. Even simple things were well done, for example the edamame had a light coating of olive oil and a dusting of spicy seasoning. Best edamame ever. The Crunchy Spicy Shrimp Roll was also a table favorite.

My wife tends towards non-meat dishes and there were several items for her to chose from.

The service was professional and efficient. There is also a good wine list and they serve full bar.

The building is very pretty and airy. High ceilings, lots of natural materials. Our table was right along the beach side of the restaurant. For people who just want a drink beachside, there is also a nice fire pit on the beach, surrounded by lounge chairs.

CocoMaya is a whole new level for Virgin Gorda and I definitely recommend a vista.

“Worth a meal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 3, 2014

Terrific small plate experience. Only problem, they seem to never have a table at the reservation time and seem to want everyone to start at the bar.
