First you have to find Coco Maya which is on the waterfront and just down the road from the roundabout, but without a lighted sign it is not immediately visible. The location and ambience of this place is wonderful, as you are right on the beach in this open air bistro featuring a very contemporary decor resulting in a light and airy feel. Ethereal music along with fire pits and seating on the beach allow for a relaxing experience. This place features tapas, which we have enjoyed many times at other restaurants, but here we found the items we ordered to be either too spicy (and we like spicy food) or very average in quality. We did enjoy the tuna ceviche and the chicken satay but the fish cakes were very mediocre and the duck confit was too spicy. The bar features a "cojito" which is a mojito made with coconut juice which is enjoyable. While we would not return for dinner it is a very nice spot to enjoy and drink and relax after your busy day on the beach or on the water.
