Coco Maya is an incredible new restaurant on VG. We had the opportunity to sit in the loungers around the fire with good friends. Food is exceptional with ideas and flavors you didn't think could taste so good. Drinks are also very creative and of course very tasty.

A wonderful addition to virgin gorda. The food and ambience were great. A nice variety of Belgian beers makes a nice change.

Despite having reservations it was a long wait for a table. But sitting by the fire on the beach gazing up at stars mitigated a lot of that annoyance. Food was fine, but far from remarkable. I had the vegetable stir fry with chicken and it was pretty bland. Another person with us had his order messed up. And two others reported their red snapper as "fine" but certainly not warranting any greater praise.

They serve food in the most picturesque spot on Virgin Gorda. Definitely worth a visit. Please do not go to the beach bar next door (unaffiliated) as they serve sea turtle soup (that's right the extremely endangered sea turtles are legally hunted and eaten in Virgin Gorda). Avoid Andy's Beach Bar, but definitely stop by Coco Maya!

The entire time I was sitting in Coco Maya, I thought - "I cannot believe I'm in Virgin Gorda". The restaurant has a South Beach feeling to it. We ate there for dinner one night and returned later in the week to enjoy their lunch. I must say, the lunch was actually even better than the dinner - although both were great. The Duck Nachos, fish cakes, and lychee martinis were the high points. Definitely would recommend Coco Maya. It is probably one of the more expensive restaurants on the island - but worth it.
