The boat we rented, drop off us at the north side of the stones, we swam.. walk.. and finally, at the south side we meet our boat. Really beautiful caverns and place.

We visited the Baths as part of a Disney Cruise excursion from Tortola. A lovely day, we enjoyed it - although somewhat crowded since we were there as part of a large excursion group. Overall, a beautiful location to visit!

Such a fun day climbing the rocks. I'm not the best swimmer but, you don't need to know how to swim to enjoy the rocks. The restaurant only takes cash and the menu is not extensive so you may want to pack something. Its super hot so be sure to bring sunblock or sunscreen. Its a beautiful island. You will want to wear your swimsuit and maybe some water shoes for the climbing. Some people were barefoot. I wore a beach dress with my bikini underneath to the island and quickly removed it once we arrived. You'll want to hike in a swimsuit. No need for a cover up. Before we left, I changed to my regular unders and a sports bra. I probably could have gotten away with the bikini top because it was so hot, I felt dry. There is a place for your purse or bag. You have to get a token from the bar. Be sure to sit outside on the ferry ride over (if you don't mind the sun) but sit downstairs on the way back. We came back at 3 or so and it it was soooooooooo hot I looked like a chicken nugget when we arrived back in St. John.

We were on a cruise and we were given a few hours here to explore. They said to swim for an hour and then go into the caves.. Well, we did just that... Swam and then tried to get into the caves... There were so many people there and the line was over a 2 hour wait, so we didn't get to see it. We were very disappointed There was no running water at the time of our visit because they were having issues.. They advised us to rinse off in a DIRTY in ground foot bath.. NO THANK YOU! Not a great experience at all. Would not return.

We were on the Disney Fantasy at walked off the ship around 7:25am and walked about 15 minutes to Speedy's Ferry service. We quickly hopped on the ferry service and were on our way to Virgin Gorda. We got the round trip package with taxi service to the Baths. The ferry ride was around 35 minutes and when we got off the taxi was there to take us to the Baths which was about 15 minutes away. Upon arrival at the Baths we used the bathrooms and paid our $3 entrance free and walked in. I suggest going to the right and that will take you to Poor Mans bar which has lockers and you can start exploring the caves from there and leave any heavy items. All you need is a waterproof camera and your bathing suit. We went through the caves and no one was there!! It was amazing, but we were there before the cruise ship. We went all the way through to Devils Bay which was a gorgeous swimming hole. The kids enjoyed this area the best! They took tons of pictures. After swimming for about an hour we walked back through the caves, it was slow going now with tours around. once on other side back at poor mans bar, we got a drink and the kids swam for a little bit more. We walked back up the hill about a 5 minute hike for a 12 pm taxi, got to the pier at 12:15 and ferry left at 12:40pm! It was the best part of our cruise!!! You must be prepared to go through the caves, sometimes you need to crawl
!!! My children were 11 and 15.
