We stopped at Saba Rock for dinner one night while sailing through the BVIs. Every night they have a ritual feeding of the 8 foot tarpon that swim by, they let visitors join in also. Afterwards they go over to a tank they have set up and feed the fish, lobsters and moray eel. The food was good but overpriced for what it was. If you do go get the fried conch, it's not too chewy like at a lot of places.

We first stopped at the bitter end and found it really cold and unwelcoming, we then stopped off at Saba Rock, they were so welcoming and eager for our business we pulled up the mooring and sailed round there. We were not disappointed, great atmosphere and good food.
Also for those sailing free water and ice included in mooring fees.
Don't miss the fish feeding, they are huge!

My wife and I stopped by Saba Rock, while doing some bare-boat charter sailing in the BVI. We came ashore for lunch and so I could connect to the internet to catch up on some work. The atmosphere is fantastic, the views are out of this world, and the food and drinks are pretty good too.

While we were there (end of July) 6 identical hobie cats come racing up to the dock and the sailors all jump out and race to the bar. The winner of the sailing race was evidently the first person to make it to the bar and get a beer. As the racers are making their way from the bar to the seats we notice that the sailor who sits down next to us is Sir Richard Branson of Virgin Records/Airline/Phones etc fame. The sailors had just raced over from Necker Island, the next island over, owned by Branson. So if you're there in late July keep an eye out for the famous Brit.

We popped in here as we had moored up for the nigh on on of the overnight moorings. Popped in to see the menu and decided to have dinner her. We were surprised that when we arrived the menu or rather the prices had changed and discovered that many of the places in the area change their menu for the evening and the prices soar - we would recommend checking this and maybe consider eating at lunchtime or afternoon. The staff were good, portions huge and they allowed my daugher to order a childs portion as she just wouldn't have managed an adult portion. Location is amazing and there is often a good breeze
