We were cruising on a boat and moored Leverick Bay. We enjoyed the Michael Bean's Happy Arrrr Show then headed for the restaurant. The atmosphere was exquisite, service outstanding, and the food the best we had on our trip! We were celebrating our 25th Anniversary and they made it very special for us. If you are cruising the BVI's make this a mandatory stop!

We had a great meal here on two nights. One night we did the "formal" restaurant and it was great. the second night we went to the Friday BBQ and watched "The Jumbies" dancers. The food was excellent but the show and atmosphere was a little too touristy for our taste. Overall we had a good time.

We stayed at Leverick Bay while waiting to go to A Dream Come True Villa . Rooms are okay but the food and entertainment is outstanding.

Wherever you stay, get Tiger (the taxi Guy) to drive you there. He is major fun and he takes care of you.

The restaurant - The mussels, the lobster, the mahi - we are from New Orleans- and this is the best food on Virgin Gorda by far. The place is total fun - go at 4 pm by taxi or by boat - experience the Happy hour with Michael Bean - yes a pirate show but it is probably the most fun thing we did - he is hysterical and huge audience participation! Arrgh !!!

Then go upstairs and absolutely feast on the mussels and lobster. Upstairs has a great band on some nights for dancing.

We ate there 4 out of 10 nights so that should tell you how outstanding this downstairs and upstairs restaurants are.

And I forgot the mention the BBQ dinner at Jimmbie's - unbelievable - 5 salads to die for, 4 to 5 veggies unbelievable, BBQ brisket, chicken, fish, ribs and the whole pig on the grill and dessert to bout.

Finally and the most important - the staff at Leverick Bay - they are awesome each and every one - they make you laugh, they help and they remember who you are and welcome you again and again.

And when we needed Bread to make French toast in the morning, they gave us two loaves!

We loved this place and truly recommend you go there!

PS The grocery store at Leverick is awesome. Many fresh veggies if you hit delivery day and great frozen shrimp and scallops and steaks.

During a sailing charter last week, my wife and I stopped at Leverick Bay for the night, mostly to refill the boat's water supply. The friendly guy at the fuel dock told us about Michael Beans, the happy hour singer. So we decided to give it a try and had so much fun! It's a pirate theme,,,he calls it "Happy Aaargh" and he had a whole repertoire of corny jokes and goofy sing-along songs. We've been sailing in the BVI's for the last 20 years and have never heard of Michael, but we're fans now and will always try to catch one of his shows on future charters. By the way, my wife loved her bacon cheeseburger (huge and tasty) and I love the roti. Their happy hour Stoli drinks were tasty and affordable. We'll definitely be back.

The Restaurant at Leverick Bay has long been at the top of our list for fine dining in the BVI. My wife I recently dined there for our 35th anniversary along with friends. The view from the restaurant with the moon light shining over Leverick Bay was stunning. The ambience of this restaurant is what one would expect from an upscale establishment in the BVI. The service as always was friendly and prompt. Our meals were all prepared perfectly, accompanied by fine wine from their vast wine list. Treat yourself to a fantastic experience should you be in this part of the Caribbean.
