Although the setting and locale of this resort restaurant is very nice and exotic, our meal experience was less than satisfactory on the evening of Friday, August 29, 2014. We placed our order, ordered a bottle of Chardonnay, and waited the better part of an hour without an acknowledgement that our meals were not forthcoming. When we inquired, we were told that our order had been misplaced and would be arriving shortly. One of the meals (Surf and Turf - $72) was not presented as ordered. The lobster tail was there, but the other meat was chicken when the order was for beef tenderloin. Our party of five persons went away with less than stellar feelings about the experience.

Needless to say, we were disappointed as this is a very pricey venue in the BVI and the only proffered attempt to alleviate the poor service was to remove the charge for thegratuity. Really?

I had a fantastic lunch with friends at the restaurant in Biras Creek. The menu choice is very good and the service friendly and prompt. The food was very well presented, tasty and good value.
The location is breathtaking with sea views on all sides due to the resorts unique location.
I would highly recommend you visit on your next trip to the stunning North Sound.

We have become regular guests at Biras and, as usual, our experience this year was superb. Aside from the amazing setting, the crystal turquoise waters, and the comfortable suites, what makes Biras so special is the people. The staff consists mostly of long-tenured people and they really know how to treat their guests ... friendly, accommodating, and professional. Their greetings were always warm and their service attentive, but not hovering. All issues that we had were quickly and efficiently resolved. From the wait staff, to the housekeepers, to the gardeners, to the maintenance crews, to the bartenders, to the receptionists ... every person with whom we came in contact was helpful and friendly. I read a few of the recent reviews where others said that Biras was "snooty". Our experience has never even been close to this. Yes, they do expect restaurant guests to wear long pants and collared shirts for the evening gourmet dinner, but that hardly seems too much to ask for a restaurant of this caliber. We would like to acknowledge the entire staff, but especially Martina (spa); Paul (chef); Oma (many hats); Leon, Courtney, and Monique (bartenders); Ellery (hostess); Lavern and Stephanie (wait staff), Wayne (beach and snorkeling trip), and Sarah and Aaron (guest services.) We are sorry for missing some of the team, but they are, without exception, all great! We are looking forward to our next trip. We greatly appreciate the wonderful 46th anniversary celebration dinner. We enjoyed a wonderful bottle of Cakebread cabernet and a very nicely prepared ribeye, while being serenaded by our favorite local calypso singer, Morris Mark.

The food is great, as is the setting. It's pretty formal, but the view is worth it, especially with the sunset. Even though my family and I weren't guests, they were very accommodating, as long as you were dressed nicely.

We went to Biras Creek Restaurant last Sunday March 23, 2014. We were a party of six and only one of the three couples had been there previously.

Had it not been for our good manners with new friends we would have sent our food back as it was over cooked, tasteless and over priced!

Two of us had the 'spinach and green apple stuffed pork tenderloin" the pork was very over cooked and hard and had no seasoning. The stuffing was tasteless. The mashed yams were nice but the carrot was raw!?! My husband had the 'seafood crusted mahi mahi' which was also overcooked and the crust had no seafood flavour - it certainly didn't resemble the description on the menu.

Could it be that the food was earlier that day and kept warm under hot lights? Very poor quality and a huge disappointment as Biras Creek has an enviable location.

The staff were ok but stand offish. Following our experience we would neither recommend or return to this restaurant!

Great ptiy...
