Although the setting and locale of this resort restaurant is very nice and exotic, our meal experience was less than satisfactory on the evening of Friday, August 29, 2014. We placed our order, ordered a bottle of Chardonnay, and waited the better part of an hour without an acknowledgement that our meals were not forthcoming. When we inquired, we were told that our order had been misplaced and would be arriving shortly. One of the meals (Surf and Turf - $72) was not presented as ordered. The lobster tail was there, but the other meat was chicken when the order was for beef tenderloin. Our party of five persons went away with less than stellar feelings about the experience.
Needless to say, we were disappointed as this is a very pricey venue in the BVI and the only proffered attempt to alleviate the poor service was to remove the charge for thegratuity. Really?
