“Pleasant and Delicious”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

We enjoyed D’ Coal Pot the first night of our weeklong vacation so much that we came back again four days later. The wait staff was warm and friendly, and the food was well prepared and quite delightful. We had a craving for conch fritters and theirs were the best that we had all week. The roti and curry crusted grouper were very good. The food was authentic, delicious, and quite affordable.

“Perfect!”
Reviewed April 7, 2014

We stayed at Guava Road Apartments that was close to D' Coal Pot. Alfonso highly recommended we eat here so we did once we got settled. We loved it so much that we ate there 4 times in the 8 days we were there. Everyone of the ladies working there were so nice and very helpful. The Owner too. She is an amazing Chef! You should eat here!! I'm ready to go back!

“Delicious & Friendly”
Reviewed April 4, 2014

We had done a fair amount of online research trying to find a good place to eat out on our recent trip to Tortola....we were constantly coming across the same restaurant recommendations. We didn't want 4-5star fancy...we just wanted good food....so on a stop at Stoutt's Look Out for a cocktail and a chat with Stoutt, the owner, we asked him where we should go, he didn't hesitate to recommend D'Coalpot. In fact, he got in his car and guided us there and introduced us to the owner.
The owner and her staff were wonderful, so friendly and welcoming. And the food was delicious. We wouldn't have thought to come here on our own, its an unassuming locations, not on the water and a simple restaurant, but it was great. Get the Conch Fritters for an appetizer, and don't deny yourself the Roti for the entree, amazing!
PS - go to Stoutt's Look Out too for great drinks, amazing views, and a great chat with Stoutt.

“Great Caribbean Food !”
Reviewed April 4, 2014

I ate here twice in a row , one night I had the curried goat and the other night I had oxtail. The food is value for your money and there was even enough for left overs. They offer 3 sided which is amazing as it enhances the main dish even more. The owners and waiters were very welcoming and carried on a conversation with us for a while. Someone in our party was having a birthday and they provided plates at no extra cost and they even made him a free special alcoholic drink!

“Great food!!”
Reviewed April 2, 2014

We read about the Coal Pot online, and tried it. The men all ate the ribs so fast I never got a bite.
I had a jerk rubbed pork chop - tasty. My sister had what she described as the best roti she ever ate, and would not share.... Another had the grouper - so tasty. We wished we were staying longer so we could go again!
