“Awesome trip”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 18, 2013

My friend and I wanted to go snorkeling at Norman Island and the Indians. The problem is that we have gotten seasick on single hulled sailboats in the past and were a little leary of doing any form of sailing. We decided to give the catamaran a try and discovered that this wasn't an issue for us.

We had a fabulous day of snorkeling. Captain Steve and First Mate Debbie were wonderful. In addition to taking care of the boat, they took great care of us. There are lots of beverage choices from pop to beer to mixed drinks. Steve told us how to equalize when we did a snorkel dive. I have been on several day sails but no one has ever shown us that little trick. It works, too!!

I HIGHLY recommend that you take a trip with Debbie and Steve on the Mystique!!!!!

“Steven and Deb are terrific!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2013

Enjoyed the day with Steven and Deb on the Mystique. It was windy today but Steven maneuvered the boat with no problems. It really was smooth sailing! The snorkeling was great at Norman Island and the Indians. Loved the caves at Norman. Enjoyed lunch at The Bight, I had the grilled Mahi Mahi sandwich, it was delicious. Deb and Steven were great hostesses. Very friendly and accommodating! They have awesome knowledge of the area and they are certainly experienced sailors. It was an awesome day and Steven and Deb should be commended! Will take a trip again with them!

“Not rushed and Mystique 2 was great with kids.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2013 via mobile

We went to Norman island with kids ages 6 and 10. I was hesitant to book a non-private charter thinking that we would be rushed from one place to the next. I was so surprised how relaxed the pace felt and how easy it was. The boat was immaculate, beautiful and easily had room enough for everyone. We had a great time, our captain Kimo was friendly, very experienced and was great with everybody on board. Debbie his first mate was very nice and did a great job. I would request them the next time around!

“Angie and Bernie Are Great!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 9, 2013

We spent a day sailing and snorkeling with Bernie and Angie last week. They were fabulous guides, delightful to spend the day with, and very knowledgeable. We couldn't recommend Mystique more highly - particularly if you're in Angie and Bernie's hands.

“Carnival + Tortoal Snorkeling Tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 7, 2013

My wife and I cruised the Carnival Freedom and visited some beautiful islands. We snorkeled at each of them. This is our ranked list of the excursions.

1 St Thomas - Captain Nautica's snorkeling trip - very good. Love the turtles good variety of fish. Tie with Tortola for #1 cause Tortola was incredible too but had no turtles.
1 Tortola - Snorkeling adventure, basic but incredible snorkeling. Most variety of fish and great conditions.
3 Antigua - Catamaran Sail & Snorkel - very good, also had beautiful beach drop.
4 Bahamas - nice catamaran, good snorkeling, only problem was they were way behind schedule. Bigger ship but liked Antigua ship/people better.

Only about 1 hour in the water, it was enough but we could have stayed there all day. This was the best pure hour of snorkeling ever, even better than St. Thomas - though no turtles. We went out to the back side of Norman island and conditions were incredible. They weren't so great getting out there, but once we got to the spot they were the best of the trip. We saw a dolphin on the way out and the captain swung the boat around so we could get pics. WE also got a bit of island history on the way back in. Nice friendly guides, one of them was named David and it was his birthday ;) The boat was good, it was about 50 feet long and had seats in the shade. They said it would be a choppy ride but it was fine. Took about 20 minutes to get to the snorkeling spot. Whole tour was maybe 2 hours. We were able to snorkel into caves but I didn't go into them. They're not really caves but were supposedly cool. This stop had the most variety of fish definitely. It was also one of the cheaper tours, heck - do it twice! Supposedly someone saw a small octopus in the larger cave. Only bad note is that they ran short on fins for the men. They had lots of fins, but ran out of those for guys with shoe size 11 feet. Also no defog for masks.
