“Fun Day Sailing to Norman Island, The Indians and Willy T”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

Gary the captain and Edward the first mate showed our party of six a great day of sailing, snorkeling and entertainment. We sailed from Tortola to Norman Island (where we did some snorkeling), them lunched at Willy T's, and snorkeled in afternoon at The Indians. The service was amazing. The open bar was overflowing and Edward was always checking to make sure our glass was filled! We brought our own snorkeling gear but there is a good supply on board as well. The 50 foot catamaran had ample room and was very clean and organized.
I would highly recommend this day sail yacht for a fabulously fun day in the BVIs.

Thank you for sailing with us and Norman is always a fun day with the best snorkeling around the BVI. I think the Indians are my favourite spot. We hope that you are doing well and that we will see you back in the BVI again soon, take care.

“We loved the Kuralu!”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

Our party of five had a wonderful day aboard the Kuralu with Captain Gary and his mate, Edward. We did a full-day sail out of West End to Norman Island for snorkeling (the Caves and the Indians) and a yummy lunch at the Willie T. From the moment we stepped onto the boat (receiving a hearty welcome from Gary's dog, Grommet) to the casual sail home, the day was a great time! Edward was attentive, always working to meet our every need (beverage, gear, comfortable seat) and Gary is a very competent Captain (we've been boaters for years and I'm particularly sensitive to focus on safety and level of attention to details). Boat is very comfortable and Rum Punch (with fresh nutmeg) is delicious!! Highly recommend!

“Awesome way to spend a day in Tortola”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

My family of 19 went to Tortola on a cruise. We booked Kuralu before we arrived and had a blast. Everyone had a great time. The service was great and the sights were beautiful. I would highly recommend this to anyone that is looking for a fun time in the sun!

“Great Day Sail”
Reviewed July 3, 2013

Read about Kuralu on trip advisor and decided to give him a call while in Tortola. We went with Captain Gary and mate Edward on two different day sails to Jost Van Dyke. Captain Gary and Edward were very friendly, professional and attentive to each of their guests. The rum punch was great and served in real hard plastic tumbler glasses with drink holders. The homemade lunch served onboard was delicious, prepared by Gary's wife. I highly recommend a day sail with Captain Gary. He stops right in front of Soggy Dollar Bar and will dinghy you up to shore and pick you up if you have cameras or purchases you don't want wet. Pain killers are awesome at SDB, beautiful water, lively party crowd. A few of us also called a cab at Gertrude's and a driver took us over to visit Foxy at Great Harbour. Foxy sang to us. He is such a hoot! Driver waited for us while we got another pain killer, shopped and talked with Foxy and then carried us back to SDB. I didn't want to come to Jost and not meet Foxy, so this plan worked for us.

“Yes, I'll have another!”
Reviewed June 28, 2013

What a fantastic way to see and do everything from the island beauty to snorkeling the reefs!

Gary and 1st Mate Edward are attentive and cordial hosts. Just as important, the crew provides for a safe and secure ocean sailing experience. I heartily recommend the Kuralu to any visitor to Tortola. Delicious rum punch made it even more fun.
