Owner description: Park that encompasses the wreck of the HMS Rhone, a mail ship that sunk during a hurricane in 1867, and Dead Chest Island, both great dive sites.

This is one of my favorite dives of all time. The water is so clear and teaming with tons of beautiful coral. The ship is in excellent shape with lots to see. THere are also a lot of big fish swimming around and even saw a nurse shark. I probably like the bow even better than the stern but both dives are fantastic.

I expected a fairly colorless dive with the the wreck being all there was to see. We were pleasantly surprised to see tons of colorful coral and fish in, on, and around the wreck. Swimming through the Rhone we saw schools of colorful fish and brilliant corals everywhere. Expect a 2 tank dive to explore the entire wreck as it's in sections on the ocean floor. You'll have the opportunity to touch a porthole for good luck as well as rub a spoon that's rumored to be from the captain. It's a don't miss, in my opinion, if you're in the BVI. Use caution on the descent lines as there is fire coral growing everywhere on them.

I generally don't like wrecks but the extensive coral growth on the Rhone made it all worth the time. Plenty of swim throughs, artifacts and gorgeous reefs to view.

A must dive when you are in the BVI. Read up on the history of the wreck and it will make your experience so much better!

Though we just snorkeled over this wreck, it was an amazing sight. The swells were big and it was a bit scary , but I would do it again in a heartbeat. Well worth the money.
