Owner description: Aristocat Charters is listed on Trip Advisor as the # 1 day charter company in Tortola, why don't you come and find out why! The friendliest and best day sail trip in the BVI, offering a FULL DAY sail, 9:30am-5:00pm, (or arranged to match your cruise ship schedule) on 48ft sailing catamarans to beautiful Jost Van Dyke; Norman Island & The Indians; Salt, Cooper, and Peter Islands; The Baths, etc. to enjoy some of the best snorkeling the BVI has to offer. On all our day sails we make a MINIMUM of 3 stops at different locations to swim and snorkel on some great reefs, in the clearest water in the Caribbean. Help yourself to the open bar and enjoy the extensive buffet lunch, freshly prepared and served on board.

We have sailed with Gilbo, Emily and Capt. Steve many many times. Always a fantastic afternoon.
Beautiful snorkling, nice lunch, and delish rum drinks. A day with these guys is well spent! Been on other days sails but this one is THE BEST!

“a great trip every time”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

We took our 6th day sail on the Aristocat last week, heading to Jost Van Dyke. My two teenage daughters always look forward to this and Captain Gilbo and first mate Emily did not disappoint. We first sailed across to Sandy Spit where you could snorkel or swim onto the island. For those that have not been there Sandy Spit is a small "desert island" with a single palm tree and it can't take more than 5 minutes to walk around the island. Next stop was Diamond Cay where we snorkeled while we awaited lunch. The marine life there was great, and it is an easy snorkel. My kids look forward to their homemade lunch, devilled eggs, hot dogs, tuna, potato salad, and cold cuts. Not to mention the rum punch for the adults! Our last stop for the day was White Bay, home of the legendary Soggy Dollar Bar. White Bay is an awesome place, the water is clear and it is an easy swim into shore. We decided to visit the One Love bar and have t-shirts to remember the trip by.

I highly recommend the Aristocat, you will not be disappointed. We wouldn't have done it so many times if it wasn't a memorable day.

“Great Time”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

Went with the crew In January 2013 and had an excellent time. Great snorkel spots to check out three of them!
Then were served a really nice lunch and all the rum drinks, beer, or soda you could ever want. Highly recommend this excursion. Got us back ti the cruise ship in plenty of time.

“Great day”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

Unfortunately we didnt have enough time to explore more the the BVI's but Gilbo and Emily did a great job of showing us Sandy Spit and Jost Van Dyke. Catamaran is well taken care of and Gilbo and Emily make you feel at home and provided a great lunch also. Had a great trip with them and will do again when we get back to Tortola.

“Perfect day of sailing and snorkeling”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

We were looking for a day trip to snorkel while we were in port with a cruise ship. I emailed Capt. Steve and he said that there was room for us on the Aristocat to go to Norman Island that day. Gilbo and Emily were our hosts and made the day a fun one. They got up early in order to pick us up near the pier. Since we were unfamiliar with the island and town, that made it much easier for us and the others from our ship. This charter doesn't overcrowd their boats, so there was lots of room to sit in sun or shade. The sailing was relaxing and enjoyable. They provided a lunch of several salads, cold cuts, hot dogs and deviled eggs. We ate at the third snorkeling stop and because we had time, they took us to another area where we saw some amazing coral. The snorkeling at Norman Island was the best of our trip. Amazing colors and species of fish and coral. We would go again if we ever get the chance to be in Tortola. There's a reason Aristocat is so highly rated. They take very good care of you.
