“Great hike”
Reviewed November 14, 2012

Give yourself enough time to explore the 5 trails to different points. We started to run out of daylight so only did about half. Great hike and views.

“Worth it but could be better”
Reviewed August 22, 2012

Did this on a blistering hot April day but the forest was cool with lots to see and the views make it totally worth it. However, like a previous reviewer noted this could be so much more if a little more attention was paid to signage and footing and the clearing of view restrictions.

Don't wear flip flops as the ground is quite uneven in spots and the walking can be muddy if it has rained. While technically not a rain forest you could have fooled me. Like the trails, the bar/shop at the base could be so much more but the manager (owner?) makes a nice rum punch and the shop has a few interesting items. He also knows the trails and can advise but at least when we were there he had only one copy of a map and that was his to keep. I was tempted to give him $5 to go make some copies for future visitors.

“Highest Poin on Tortola”
Reviewed July 18, 2012

Long steep adventurous drive to path to the top with wonderful taxi (Danny) driver we've visited several times when on Tortola. He then led us up an old trail to a look out point with wooden patio to view other islands in the distance. There's a compass to show which islands you are viewing. The trail is a little difficult, but not too strenuous for most. Well worth the taxi fare and the climb to the lookout point.

“Nice little hike”
Reviewed May 31, 2012

Sage was a nice hike. Very cool foliage. Not a fantastic view but worth the 45 min hike I suppose. Have a Banana Smoothie from the kindly gentleman from Gloucester who owns the little gift shop near the parking.
