I love this place. Must be the best Rum on the planet first of all. The only place to get it is at the distillery. I take my charter guests there al they all really seem to enjoy it, well they do give samples of there Rum before you buy. The guys who work there are full of info on the Rum making process. I can't wait to go back.

A great way to see how rum was produced back in time. Guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The samples were great! Able to buy bottles to take home.

Just a short walk from the beach, the Callwood distillery is a must see! The tour is cheap at only $2 per person and informative. The distillery is small and rustic, but the rum is yummy! If you want to see the distillery working, you need to go in the spring or fall.

If you have the opportunity to be in Cane Garden Bay, do yourself a favor and take the “tour” of Callwood Distillery, the only rum distillery on Tortola. It costs $2/pp, but you get a lot of history, a good description of how the rum is made (it’s basically a large moonshine still) along with some free samples at the end. You probably won’t make it out without buying a bottle or two of rum that you can’t find in the stores – but the price is right so take advantage of it. Make sure you ask the two cousins how many gallons they produce in a year.

Last time we didn't go to the distillery, just bought some rum at the airport to bring back. This time I visited and bought some of the rum that you can only get there. Wow, was it good! Definitely gotta bring some back with you, as my understanding is that you can't buy this rum ANYWHERE but Tortola. You can probably skip the tour, just take a look around...you can buy the rum here and have it packed at the airport. The USVI allows you to bring more back if I understood correctly.
