“Great place!”
Reviewed January 21, 2014

We arrived in Tortola by cruise ship and only had about half a day to ourselves. We asked around as to which beach we should go to that would be close and mostly private. This place fit the bill and then some! The water was clear except for an area that had rocks. We had our own cabana and loungers at no extra cost. We were able to order drinks and lunch at the beach bar. Very convenient, close, and reasonable. Awesome views too. We just wished we had more time to hang out and relax. Easy to do here since it was not very crowded at all. Quiet too.

“Beautiful and almost private beach!”
Reviewed January 20, 2014

Our ship docked here and as we did not have an excursion planned, we just went to the nice British ladies in the information kiosk and chose a beach. Mostly I selected the one that did not have hundreds of people already going there! We finally found a cab driver willing to take just the two of us out there, and were very pleased with the result. The beach is small and very pretty, with about 20 loungers available to use. The bartender pours killer rum drinks, the food is expensive but tasty, and the peace and quiet is lovely! The beach is rocky and you'll need flip flops to get into the water, but it's worth it. Walking back to the taxi stand you pass by a beautiful marina, and there is an ATM at the taxi stand if you need cash. But let the cabbies finish their chess game :)

“Nice marina”
Reviewed January 14, 2014

Nice neat place to visit. The beach is small but it is possible to swim a little. Then it is more than pleasant to stay by the bar or to go to the restaurant with great view to marina and the sea. Since we were there between lunch and dinner the menu was a little limited. But still a chance to choose good food. And enjoy this quiet place and view.

“Nice Bar Area and Pool. Rocky beach.”
Reviewed December 4, 2013

We visited here in September and were the only people on the beach. The bar was very nice and the service was great, however, it should be noted that the beach bar is not full service.
The Cay is very picturesque but the beach is rocky, I was not able to go in the water without sandals on.

Pros: ATM, shops, food and drink, nice bathrooms, and great pool.
Cons: Limited chairs, and beach is rocky.

“the best marina on tortola”
Reviewed November 28, 2013

For the setting, lack of tourists, quiet water and great restaurant of Pegs Legs, Nanny is the best Marina on the Island. It's where we keep our Virgin Traders boat. Just wish they would drop the price of fuel to compete with Sopers. Oh Well
