“Great beach but the cruise traffic has overwhelmed it...”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

Smugglers cove is a beautiful beach. We first went there in the mid 1990s and the cruise crowds just started to destroy the tranquility. Cruise tourists are like everyone else. They want a place to be quiet and clean, but they come with their cans and bottles and litter it up.. You would think they would understand that they are the problem. Smuglers Cove...not what it used to be.

“LOVE Smuggler's Cove!”

Great for swimming & snorkeling past the breaks. Gorgeous water - laid on my inflatable raft for hours in the water! Nice beach; lifeguard on duty.

“Lovely and Quaint”
Reviewed May 15, 2013

Lovely beach (like Long Bay much better) a bit more crowded and definitely hard to get to.....dirt roads that aren't very well maintained. Not as clean and well manicured as some of the other beaches on the island. However, the sand and water and views are beautiful.
