Nothing to dislike about this wonderful, quiet, and unspoiled beach. It's a 20 minute walk from Long Bay Beach Resort. Life guards on duty on weekends only.

Smuggler's Cove really is a great little beach. Unfortunately, because people rave about it on TripAdvisor, it does get pretty crowded. Go in the morning, around 10 and scout out a good spot to relax all day. Take some snacks and drinks--there may or may not be a person out selling stuff the day you're there. And, don't forget the bug spray--my husband got eaten up by little bugs on his feet. They must have liked him enough that I didn't have any problems! The palm-lined beach is beautiful and I highly recommend relaxing there for at least half a day!

This beach would have been hard to find if we didnt have a local in our car, but it is definitely worth the search. The beach is perfectly sandy and the snorkeling was fantastic, and of course the view was beautiful. Since no one is there vending, make sure to pack some water and/or snacks.

Let me start off by warning you, if you plan to go to Smuggler's cove, made sure you rent a Jeep or some kind of SUV... The trip into the mountains is very steep and very bumpy. The car rental company rented me a Nissan Sentra (small car), they knew where I was going and didn't say anything to me... The car bottomed out a few times... It was rough...

The beach is very nice.. Great snorkeling.. Very private too.. Bring your own food (their nothing close to buy)...

I've been there many times, but this year it seemed sad. The food vendor who made the best Pina Coladas in the world was not there. I know they are making an effort to keep the beaches clean and keep unlicensed food vendors away, but the people who used to be there were great and should be allowed to come back!
