Everytime we visit the BVI we go to BananaKeet to have drinks/eats and watch the sunset over the islands. It is invariably magnificent - see my latest photo.
The snacks and drinks seem incidental when compared to the beauty of nature, but they are quite acceptable if a little overpriced.
But it is a not-to-be-missed once in a lifetime experience at sunset. You will not be disappointed

We were told that one of the highlights of our trip would be cocktails and appetizers at sunset, and ... WOW. First, if you're not comfortable driving on Tortola, given the hills and switch-backs, take a taxi. The driver will get you there safely, and the hostess will call a taxi to get you home after you've had a couple of cocktails and their complimentary rum "shooter" at sunset. We didn't have dinner, so cannot comment on the prices or the preparations of the meals; however, the appetizers we had were excellent, the drinks potent, and the sunset was really beautiful, much more so than we had seen before.
The service was pleasant and professional, and the staff was more than ready to help with suggestions for food and drinks.
If you're going to be on Tortola for a few days, this should be on your to-do list.

Excellent food, service, atmosphere and views. Good wine list and great pre-dinner cocktails. Live music (1-2 nights per week depending on season).

Fabulous view high on a hill. Hubby and I stopped in for lunch after hiking Sage Mt National Park. This restaurant had the lowest priced water so far and we bought an extra bottle to go. I ate the chichen bacon ceasar wrap and fesh made chips, delicious and hubby had eggs and sauage also an excellent dish. We enjoyed the view and the breeze while waiting for our poolside lunch to arrive. We also could hear the squealing of tires going up the hill which we were starting to get used to hearing around these very steep and switchback roads of Tortola. This establishment is perched high on a hillside with a commanding view.

This is a must for a sunset cocktail while visiting Tortola. It is a small hotel, restaurant and very upscale bar perched above Carrot Bay looking west past Long Bay Beach. The pics you will take away will blow your mind. The Cafe staff are wonderful, the BVI traditional drinks (yes, they serve Pain Killers) and the vista are not to be missed.
