I live on Tortola and go occasionally, both lunch and dinner. The menu reads well, the ingredients are sourced well (considering the difficulties involved with where we are), the staff is informed and attentive, the wine list great. I personally like Regis and Claudine. But the food is unfortunately BLAND.

This restaurant is ranked #1 on trip advisor for a reason. The food is well prepared, diverse, and there is a good wine and drink selection. The service staff is knowledgeable and well trained - not something you always find in the islands. The owners are on site and involved in making sure you have the best dining experience possible. We ate here twice during a nine day stay and saved it for our last dinner before departure. The location is up on a hill over Brandywine Bay and there is nice plantings around the property adding to the beautiful setting.

We got into Brandywine by chance. The restaurant is situated between the airport and Road Town and is not on the road, you have to take a left from the airport/Beef Island into a small local road to get on top of a small hill. There's a convenient parking space. It was late at night, 21:30/22:00. The waiters prepared us a table with a smile on their face, under the stars. We ordered some random plates not expecting too much. In reality we had a great meal. I tried a home made pasta with shellfish (x 2 people) that was really, really good (I am Italian, so hopefully you are getting a fair opinion on it) and some tuna carpaccio, also very good. We tried a couple of wines by the glass, a french rose and a new world red very well kept and preserved. Service was professional and efficient. The atmosphere outdoors was amazing, with a good view of a bay before Road Town. Definitely recommended.

It's impossible to say which is better, the view or the food and service as they are both sublime. The setting is gorgeous and every meal is excellent. We always eat here at least 4-5 times in a 12 day stay for lunch and dinner. We love the lobster and the paella and sea bass dishes are to die for.

I saw Brandywine on the map, but forgot to ask our concierge about it. We were on the way to Josiah Beach for a surfing lesson and were looking for a good lunch spot. We drove past Brandywine, turned around, and jetted up the drive. This place is SO good. We had cocktails on the veranda, overlooking cliffs and the ocean. We then moved to garden style seating and had an amazing 2 hour lunch. We had watermelon feta salad, bruscetta, chilean sea bass, tuna tartare, rose prosecco, beer, all fantastic.
If you drive by this place, turn around and head back, because it is worth backing up for!
