“True blue - an eclectic visual and taste indulgence”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 10, 2011

A mind-blowing website is just the start and definitely sparked our interest to visit this restaurant. Of course, you know, too many websites are deceiving nowadays, so our expectations were cautious first, but changed into pure joy once we approach the estate. Magnificent view, gorgeous setting in lush gardens and mature trees. White furniture and blue fabrics, many different blues, so classy, so magnificent. The local artworks that can be found in the restaurant shows that this place has much more to offer than just unbelievable food.

Despite the fact that we had not reservation, we were welcomed by Cecil with a great smile and warmth that just started to confirm what we secretly hoped it would be... Sebastian, our waiter, smiled, was very soft-spoken, very pleasant and attentive. The whole atmosphere was down to earth, relaxing, but nevertheless very classy.

The quality and presentation of the appetizers and the main course was incredible - hands down, some of the best tastes and surprising combination (e.g. mango salad with house smoked salmon) Tortola has to offer. Simply, there was not one single dish we would want to improve - definitely a taste of paradise and a romantic dinner we will cherish in our hearts.

“Best Bouillabaisse we ever had”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 3, 2011

We were staying in Tortola and heard about Brandywine Bay. As a lover of Bouillabaisse, I am always eager to find the best..and I did! The portion was perfect and the spices tasted heavenly. We also enjoyed the personal service and the fantastic wine selection at surpisingly reasonable prices. If I ever had to make a choice for my last meal - I would have it here.

“Very disappointing experience”

The food was excellent under the old management. It is unfortunately not the same under the new owners. I will not go there again and nor will recommend this place to anyone.

“Amazing food & attentive service in a beautiful setting! Voila!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 24, 2011

A friend of ours recommended The Brandywine Bay Restaurant and we decided to check it out during our last trip to the BVI. We had a quick glance at their website www.brandywinebay.com and the pictures and the menu speak for themselves. As it states, it is definitely worth booking in advance!

We were made to feel very welcome with the friendly and attentive staff. Although the restaurant was full the service was outstanding making you feel that you were the only customers. Cecile, the owner, even had time to have a quick chat with us to discuss which wine was the best to accompany our meal: the sort of service you do not get everywhere!

The food was simply delicious: I had the minestrone of conch to start with and the ravioles of lobster, with spinach and porcini mushrooms as a main. And the presentation was beautiful!

All in all, it’s definitely worth a visit if you are in Tortola!

“Definitely worth the drive!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 4, 2011

From the moment we were personally greeted by owner Cecile, we enjoyed a delightful meal experience. It began with a glass of wine and creative nibbles on the lovely open terrace overlooking the bay. The menu displayed a number of cooking influences and the wine list was varied in both offerings and price. All of our meal choices were extremely delicious, as well as creatively prepared and presented. We especailly enjoyed the tuna appetizer and boulliabase. The staff could not have been more friendly and we appreciated the owner-chef, Eric, coming out to our table so that we could commend him on his culinary expertise. All in all, a delightful and delicious experience!
