“Great Italian”
Reviewed April 21, 2014

This is a great little italian restaurant that has only been open for a short time. After all the wonderful french meals, we were searching for pizza one night and just happened upon this. Real pizza from a wood burning oven. Excellent fresh tomato sauce. It was all delicious. Pasta's cooked perfectly. Service was charming and owner came and treated us to the best tiramisu we've had in a restaurant and along with some champagne. Would have gone back had this not been at the end of our trip. Absolutely worth going to for a relaxing, fun evening.

“Wood Burning Pizza - None better on SXM”
Reviewed April 13, 2014

Awesome wood-burning pizza - so happy to find it. Pizza on SXM isn't generally great but its often a needed break from all the French and French-ified food. I drove by and spotted this place, with the wood-burning oven right out front. I stopped by later for 5 various pies for my family. They were excellent - kids and adults loved it all. Thin crust with fresh ingredients. Nice owner too - originally from Italy but had pizza places in New York (built the oven himself!).

Usefully has parking in the back (parking can be a pain in GC). Happy to have this place - looking forward to going back.

“The best Italian food we had in the Caribbean”
Reviewed April 6, 2014

If you are searching for authentic Italian food look no further. The Aglio e Olio has great food that tastes just like in Italy. Ingredients are fresh and you can see how your pizza is made in the wood oven in which the thin dough becomes deliciously brown and crunchy. The owner of the place is actually Italian and also very friendly and welcoming which can generally be said about the restaurant staff. It is also one of the places you can go to if you want a very good dinner and don't want to spend a fortune on it. Somehow, most places in Grand Case seem to offer either very expensive food or they are cheap and basic - so this place is somewhere in the middle.

“Italian gem!”
Reviewed March 30, 2014 via mobile

We found this gem one night while walking in Grand Case. It was so good we went back a second time. The pasta and salad was excellent. The second visit we had the Neapolitan pizza that was delicious. The place is charming and the staff is very accommodating. A good wine list is also a bonus.

“Great pasta! Wood Burning stove.”
Reviewed March 14, 2014

The pasta aglio Olio hit the spot. Not too much garlic and it was al dente. The focaccia they serve with the meal you could eat multiple baskets of it. The selection of wine is very good. The pizza's are from the wood burning stove that was built by the owner. Service outstanding and the owners are very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our evening other people where eating calzones that looked yummy we didn't have those.

They make Lasagna and various other authentic Italian dishes.
