“Excellent food, service, and view!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2014

We ate here based on the numerous recommendations on TripAdvisor, and were not disappointed. We shared a Vietnamese chicken curry and the special Cam Bahn Bay chicken, spring rolls, banana beignet, and the house coco cake.. all delicious, along with friendly and pleasant service provided by the husband and wife proprietors. We will definitely return.

“A welcome alternative”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 3, 2014

This new and (apparently) very authentic Vietnamese restaurant is a welcome change from the elaborate French meals - or the very simple local ones at the lolos - in Grand Case. Open just a few months, the owners (she in the kitchen, he out front) has some great choices in a beautiful, beach side setting. We particularly like the Vietnamese pancake. Exceedingly reasonable, too, esp. for Grand Case. Located right next to the lolos.

“Great Location, Fantastic Food, Prompt Service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 31, 2014

This place is new to Grand Case, however, will be a must -stop restaurant for everyone soon. Overlooking the beach alongside the pier there is always something going on.

The menu is elaborate which you would expect from a Thai/Viet place. We stopped in twice during our stay; once for dinner and once for lunch. The food is truly top-notch, high quality, and has generous proportions. The chicken, pork, and fish are clearly fresh and were extremely good. The service was prompt and friendly and the owner is quickly learning English very well. The wine selection has good choices and other mixes.

We would recommend this as a stop for anyone looking for something both high quality and as a break from some traditional island food.

“Intimate setting, marvelous food, gracious host - don't miss it!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 28, 2014

We were walking into Grand Case for the first Harmony night of the season with someone else from our building who mentioned there was a new Vietnamese restaurant that he heard was good. When the rain started we decided it would be a good time to check this place out. Cam Ranh Bay is in the building with the travel agent on the north end of town. Walk toward the rear of the building and you will find a charming place to dine on the waterfront. The color and lights provide a happy atmosphere. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. We began with chicken spring rolls which were hot and crispy. We each had Vietnamese curry, I chicken, my spouse pork. The sauce was light, not a heavy cream sauce, and the curry flavor was delicate. The meat was thin and tender with a texture almost like al dente pasta and had a good ratio of meat to vegetables. We each had an order of fried rice which had a generous smattering of chicken and vegetables. I used it to sop up the curry sauce. The portions were perfect for my husband but I left behind both rice and curry. A couple could easily share the rice and leave satisfied. I had a glass of white wine and my husband had a couple of cokes. All this for under $50 including a tip. Cam Ranh Bay provided a delightful alternative to the more expensive, upscale dining that Grand Case is known for and I'm sure we would have returned for an encore had we had a few more days in St. Martin.
