Most of the food in Grand Case is very French influenced and portions are on the small side. Which is fine but sometimes you want a big plate of food.

This outdoor lola was energetic and offered live music the night we were there. If you get a platter you get your meat along with servings of spaghetti, potato salad, green salad, macaroni and cheese, and cole slaw. It is an interesting mix of food that all seems to work together.

We started with two orders of Johnny Cakes. The server indicated they were small, so we got two cakes each. They were not what I am used to as a Johnny Cake but they were very tasty. They were big fried biscuits. They were served warm and were light and fluffy inside.

As a bonus they offered a 1 USD = 1 EUR equivalent if you were paying cash. For the American traveler this is a big discount if you have the cash.

Very casual BQ place. Wonderful Ribs, Chicken, and Fish. Lots of sides to choice from, rice and peas and maccaroni and cheese. Great for kids.

Casual picnic table atmosphere with fantastic local food. The whole red snapper and chicken breast were delicious and so cheap. Most popular lolo on the pier.

Always a good fun place to go. The ribs are really good. The Johnny-cakes are freshly made and tasty. AND they have Ting soda… even though when we American tourists asked for it, Chez Emil, co-owner with the lovely Jacqueline, humorously asked, "how you know 'bout Ting?" Very reasonably priced and definitely not an annoying tourist spot. Good stuff. We go back multiple times when we are there. We even rented a car when we visited off a cruise so we could drive there (and a few other places). Enjoy!
