While I do not doubt the veracity of the glowing reviews above, I must advise to book well in advance. How far in advance? Not sure. We were under the impression that this company only does excursions out to Creole Rock--hence the name Creole Rock Water Sports. Well, apparently they are a water-taxi-on-demand service as well. We showed up at the Grand Case Beach Club at 1:30 for the 2:00 excursion, but the guy in the wet suit told us that he was already committed to picking someone up (evidently someone too good for a lowly cab ride on land). Anyway he invited us to come back tomorrow. Great, but tomorrow we fly back home. So book in advance, and don't wait until your last full day. And if you question the fullness of their schedule, be warned--he may show you his day planner!

Our snorkel trip, guided by Ben, was absolutely magical ! He led us through both shallow and deep waters and pointed out such an array of fish and sea life....both large and small. It was especially exciting to actually hold and touch animals which he brought up from the sea bottom and to hear him expound on what we were seeing. The Creole Rock area is, in itself, a lovely setting and the resort a lovely place to spend time as well. Highly recommend this dive shop and the terrific people who staff it !!!

We went snorkeling with Creole Rock Watersports last week. Sebastien was an awesome tour guide and the snorkeling was amazing. Creole Rock is just a 3 minute boat ride away and it's one of the best snorkeling spots on the island. Sebastien and Monica let us reschedule our trip at no cost when we thought the conditions may not be perfect for snorkeling and gave us awesome tips about beaches to visit on the island. Very affordable trip at $40/pp. We say stingray, turtles, jelly fish and more... Couldn't ask for more. Thanks!

Sebastien, Monica and Ben were AMAZING!! Worth going to Grand Case Beach Club just to visit them! My Son and I went to Creole Rock with Sebastien to snorkel. Sebastien was very knowledgeable, gave helpful hints and knew where unique sea creatures were hiding. He would tell us what we would see then we would dive down to look under a rock to see huge lobsters, brittle starfish, huge puffer fish (but it wasn't too close). This is one of the best places I have been snorkeling, over a thousand beautiful colorful fish. Sebastien made it a informative and relaxing snorkeling trip; whether you have been snorkeling before or if you have never been snorkeling - go with them. Sebastien, Monica and Ben answered our questions of places to go, things to do on St. Maartins. We enjoyed chatting with them each day of our vacation at GCBC!

Most sail boats you see moving through the water have the sail stowed and use engine power to appease the tourists. This trip was under sail power when possible. It is a very different feeling having the wind move the boat along and listing instead of idiling around with engine power all day. Most day sails are trying to impress the tourists to earn a tip, whereas this sail was impressing the tourists with the sail and snorkeling experience, which were the top of the line for us.This is not a party theme boat , but a real sail boat to transport you to a great snorkel spot. Bring your camera, sunscreen, sunglasses and and the day will be great. Snacks and beverages provided as well as all gear for snorkeling.
