Upon recommendation, my wife, daughter and I, and another couple went to dinner at Le Tastevin in Grand Case,St. Martin. The establishment is owned by Carlos and Christina and our waitress was Jennifer. The food was amazing, wonderful taste, great presentation, and plentiful. I had the 1.75 lb lobster which was the biggest crustacean I have ever eaten. My wife and one other had beef, cooked perfectly and just the right size. Another had the fish which she claimed was the best she had ever eaten. The atmosphere and view of the Caribbean to the west with a sunset could not have been better. Jennifer is a wonderful waitress or "service associate". Carlos, the owner, came by several times to chat and talk about the food and our likes and dislikes. We liked it so much we went back two nights later and Jennifer remembered exactly what we all drank. She, as the bartender also, makes a great gin and tonic and whiskey and gingerale. Everything there is just right for a wonderful experience. Wine, whiskey, food and tip was around $400 for five of us.
