We began coming to this restaurant in the early 1980s and have never been disappointed. The ambiance is island special and you can't beat the view of the beach. Today I had the seared foie gras with apples and it was a wonderful layer of flavors. I followed that with the Mahi Mahi with mussel sauce, mashed potatoes and asparagus. Wonderful and rich. My husband got his favorite lobster bisque which had chunks of lobster, and he followed that with the grouper with vegetables and rice and a saffron sauce. He said he really liked it, but thought mine was the better choice. As always, they have rich strong coffee. A perfect lunch, very leisurely. The bottle of Sancerre wine from the Loire Valley was a good accompaniment to it all. This will always be on our list of destinations when we come to St. Martin.
