The staff was excellent, the food was excellent. The food is well presented, and well worth the money. Go if you have the chance.

Book a reservation in advance and request to overlook the street on a Tuesday night during the parade around 7:30 - 8pm. Great food, excellent service and an elegant way to enjoy the parade at Grand Case on Tuesday night.

After reading the reviews, had a reservation here for our first night in GC. I started with a fantastic shrimp appetizer which was intricate, beautiful and delicious. The snapper stuffed with crab for my main course was presented on a huge plate and was a work of art. Intricate knife work obvious on the vegetables but nothing sacrificed as to flavor. This was clearly world class food. The Sancerre from the wine list was as ordered and reasonably priced. Paid cash in dollars which were accepted 1/1 for Euro's making this a bargain.
Service was also first rate and when we didn't order desert because we just couldn't eat any more a small rum drink was produced with compliments of the house and it was just what we needed to complete a really charming dinner experience.

Thanks to TripAdvisor we sought out this place in Grand Case for our last dinner on the island (a 40 minute drive from Great Bay) and what a beautiful last supper it would be. Doubting ourselves along the way about whether we would find it after turning off the main road and driving through an area reminiscent of a ghetto we were pleased to be greeted by a buzzing strip of restaurants, shops and galleries with a european flare at the final turn. Parking took some time requiring us to wind back through the dark streets but we ultimately found a spot and walked back down through the tight streets to Grand Case.

Arriving around 8pm on a Monday night without reservation we were asked to come back in 20 minutes which delighted us so we could take in a bit of local shopping - a place we wish we had found days earlier. While we had visited many places around the island (both sides) this was the first place with the kind of quality finds we were looking for.

Returning to the busy restaurant we were greeted with a very friendly reception and seated at the one empty table at the front entrance and then as the restaurant started to clear re-seated at a roomier table at the back unprompted. Great vibes infused the restaurant the moment we sat down. The welcoming and attentive staff, the menu of endless delights making it hard to choose just 3-4 items, the airy atmosphere created by the tall ceilings and light breezes from the surrounding open windows, the wine list, the people. It was all so easy to take in.

The food was delicious and presented ever so creatively. Our friend who knows how to cook well said the lamb was the best he has ever had. Our water and wine glasses were never empty. When we tried to take pictures of some of the special moments ourselves the owner came over to do one better by taking the pictures for us. Each time we thought WOW that was superb - more would come.

As the perfect send-off for our beautiful evening we were treated to the delicious local rum brews of one of staff. A true kiss of pleasure. So much so we forgot our shopping bags when we left. Attentive as they are they ran down the street to return them to us. Stand out.
