We felt like we'd made a great discovery. Not only was it wonderful shopping it was like going to a perfume museum. We learned about and actually saw the products being made. The store is laid out so attractively and offers a wide selection of merchandise. Not only can you purchase all the perfumes, lotions, soaps, candles, etc. made right on premise ( and by the way, they are great products) you can also buy wonderful momentos to take home from t-shirts to posters to hand-made jewelry and cds of local musicians. Everything is indicative of the island. We even purchased a beach umbrella w/the Tijon logo. They've thought of everything you might need while there, and yet most of the items are small enough to take home in your suitcase. How great to say, when someone compliments you on your perfume(and they have)- it's made right in St. Martin in a perfumery we visited. We were also pleased that the prices were affordable. Of course, the products are quality and more expensive but there are so many other items in the store that are very inexpensive. In other words, there's something for everyone. Tijon is an experience you shouldn't miss and it's in a great location in Grand Case - just across from a fine Italian restaurant called Spiga.
