Most of the popular restaurants in Grand Case are clustered along a two block strip on the main boulevard of the “downtown” area. Captain Frenchy’s is located about one block beyond the point where this strip of restaurants appears to end and, although easily overlooked, is well worth the additional few steps. Perhaps a bit less refined or formal than some of the restaurants in Grand Case, this restaurant provides a unique and authentic seaside dining experience. You may choose to sit at one of the umbrella covered tables on the beach or inside at an open-air table overlooking the sea and surf. The menu consists of a great selection of French and Caribbean appetizers and entrées, especially notable for the very fresh seafood plates. All are lovingly prepared by chef Frenchy, with over forty years experience, in his open kitchen in full view of his dining guests. If you are looking for a genuinely warm, friendly, delectable, and thoroughly enjoyable dining experience in Grand Case, Captain Frenchy’s is incomparable.
