If you like a wide choice of food at all price points then This is your hotel . The art of Sir Roland Richardson is everywhere. The secluded swim area is perfect . The staff quite friendly. We like the class of the persons staying here and would stay again.

Room Tip: Ocean view is alway best , short walk from any room to the beach

My wife and I made our first trip back to St. Martin after being there 24 years ago on a one day stop on a cruise. Man...what took us so long to return I will never know. I can tell you this though, we will be back next year and will be staying at the Grand Case Beach Club! After doing a lot of research on St. Martin and reading all the great reviews on GCBC, we decided to give them a try. Boy..did we ever hit the JACKPOT ! We spent 12 wonderful nights there and this place is amazing ! We reserved a 1 bedroom OF suite that was on the 2nd floor and it was immaculate, not to mention the gorgeous view. There was more room than we ever needed. The room was nicely decorated as it had been recently remodeled. The bed was very comfortable and right beside the sliding glass doors where we could leave it open at night to here the gentle waves and then wake up each morning to same soothing sounds. The room had everything we needed including a oven/stove, full size refrigerator, coffee maker and all cooking utensils and dinnerware. Nothing was lacking. Our housekeeper, Santana did a wonderful job of keeping our room nice and clean each day and she always spoke to us and always had a beautiful smile on her face! Beach towels were furnished each day and you could return them each to day to the office to get new ones and that was nice to have. The two beach areas on each side of the Sunset Cafe were great. The water was warm and calm and we snorkeled almost everyday around the rocks and saw lots of colorful fish. This was one of our relaxing times. The staff at the front desk were always very nice and helpful with anything we needed. One day our rental car had a tire going down and the maintenance guys had an air compressor and pumped it up for us. Later on in the evening we noticed that it had gone completely flat, so the guy at the front desk called the rental agency for us and they came out and brought us another car that night. On Thursday evenings, they have a guest reception where we got to meet others that were staying at the GCBC. They served free drinks and horsdoeuvre's which was awesome. We could have made a meal out of them! We also met Lynn, who was the asst. mgr. of the hotel. She was SO nice ! We asked her if we could take a look at some of the other rooms one day to see if there was something better that we would like to have on our next trip. She gladly set up a time the next day to show us some of the other available rooms they offered. We really liked the loft rooms since it was a little smaller but yet still had plenty of room for just my wife & I. I have to say though, all the OF rooms have a great view and you just can't go wrong with any of them. GCBC also has the Creole Watersports onsite and they offered free use of their kayaks, paddle boards and snorkeling equipment. Sylve was always so nice and courteous and gave great service and recommendations on some of the excursions they offered. She also worked her tail off all day, especially in the mornings when she was up and out early each morning putting out the chair cushions and brushing them off. We ate at the Sunset Cafe several times and the food was always delicious and the service was usually good each time we went there. Prices are a little high, but thats to be expected on most islands and also being on the French side of the island. They offered a free continental breakfast each morning. This consisted of a couple of fresh croissants and pastries with butter and jellies, coffee and OJ. Sometimes we elected to get a takeout box and eat it on our balcony. You couldn't go wrong either place as the views were always great at either place. There are a lot of fine restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel in downtown Grand Case. We always felt very safe walking even at night. Each night we ventured out, they always had a security guard on the side of the road near the hotel which made us feel even more comfortable. All in all, we had a WONDERFUL time and really can't complain about anything. We would HIGHLY recommend this place as it is truly amazing. It was one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever taken. We relaxed so much, that even being there 12 days, we still didn't do all that we wanted to do. HA! So...I guess we will need to return next year !!!! We can't wait to return!!!!

Room Tip: Make sure you reserve an OF room !

Grand Case Beach Club is Excellent! This is our 4th-time there and it keeps getting better. Very quiet side od the island. Good location. Nice beach, not crowded. Their recent renovations to the rooms have turned out to be excellent!
Walking distance to the best restaurants on the island, hands down. We never got a bad meal our whole stay. The Sunset café on resort is just as good. Sabrina and LoLo will treat you like family.

The staff is ALWAYS nice and happy. They really go out o their way to insure your stay is great.
Go back next year for 5-years in a row!

Room Tip: Get an ocean side room view you cant go wrong.

We stayed at the Grand case Beach Club during the last week in July, 2014. We had a 1 bedroom loft, Gardenview. It was a most beautiful room. Even though it was listed as a gardenview, we simply had to look through a few palm trees to see the ocean; a most relaxing view. Our apartment had 2 balconies, one on the main floor and one upstairs off the bedroom. The bedroom balcony was sunny and offered a more direct beach view and the lower, covered balcony let us enjoy a more private garden view with active birds and butterflies.

The rooms were as nice as the website photographs. The staff was excellent. All seemed friendly and engaging. They answered questions about places to see and things to do while on St. Martin. We were given directions to a nice grocery store and were directed to a bank in the same plaza with an ATM that would dispense either dollars or Euros. This was convenient because some of the restaurants in Grand Case would give a 1 to 1 exchange rate, Euros to dollars, if you paid in dollars. GCBC also offered a discount on the exchange rate although not 1 to 1, it was fair.

The Sunset Café was a lovely restaurant; every meal was wonderful. Dining outside with a spectacular view of Creole rock and the island of Anguilla was a delight. If you wanted to save a little money, you could call in a restaurant order from your room and they would call you to pick it up when it was ready. This saved you 20%. Eating on our own balcony was just as lovely.

The kitchenette in out apartment was stocked with ample pots and pans for cooking. A nice size refrigerator meant that you could save on your food budget simply by cooking one or two meals each day. Continental breakfast was included and you could either eat at the café or pick up and enjoy in your room.

A cocktail party on Thursday for all the guests offered an opportunity to mingle and converse with people from the resort. Our assistant manager was on hand the night we were there.

We had a rental car and made trips to Phillipsburg as well as Marigot and Loterie farm. All were very nice but made us appreciate the private beach and relaxing mood that is GCBC. We never had a bad meal anywhere on the island; St. Martin truly is the gourmet of the Caribbean.

My husband and I highly recommend Grand Case Beach Club to anyone who would enjoy a beautiful room on a private beach away from the crowds. You are steps away from the town of Grand case, where you might do some shopping or enjoy any one of the fine restaurants or lolos. Creole Rock Watersports, on site, can also offer other adventures from scuba diving to tours of Anguilla or St. Barts.

We thank all the staff for an unforgettable stay. We will be back as soon as we can.

Room Tip: All rooms are beautiful whether looking at the ocean or the gardens.

The Grand Case Beach Club (GCBC) is a boutique-ish style resort right on the water with very nice, clean, private, recently updated rooms with full kitchen (modern stainless appliances) facilities. I believe every room faces the water but make sure you ask for it just in case I'm wrong. Have to admit, we were a bit wary when our cab drove through some run down streets to get us to the hotel from the airport as we were expecting to be very near the foodie area....fortunately, we realized afterward, we were about 800 ft away from the main street where most of the restaurants, bars and shops were!! The Sunset Bar in the GCBC served up awesome daily lunch and dinner specials as well and offers a great view of the beach and Creole Rock. There are 2 beach areas, one in front of the Sunset Bar where they offer beach drink/food service (raise the little blue flag) and the other, behind the bar in front of the rooms. The pool is very small, but we didn't use it or need to with the beach so close. You have to pay extra for use of the gym. They also have their own dock which makes it very convenient for your snorkeling/diving excursions....ie. no shuttle bus required! Snorkeling at Creole Rock is a must!! The staff are very friendly as are the staff at Sunset Bar. French and English spoken. They also have on-site car rental service, it was very convenient to rent your car right at the GCBC and pick up/drop off there as well. The GCBC is a very romantic experience and very conveniently located within easy walking distance to the fabulous French, Italian, local and fusion restaurants (reviews under separate entries)!! We'd definitely book the GCBC when we return to St. Martin!!!

Room Tip: Just make sure you get a water view (I believe every room has one but....). There are no elevators...

This was our third visit to the Grand Case beach Club. This is our go to place when we visit St Martin. It just gets better and better every visit. The staff are always looking for ways to improve the facilities. Steve and his staff have made GCBC into one of the best places to relax and enjoy a vacation.
The staff all work very hard to provide a kind, professional experience. Everyone we encountered had a smile on their face and a greeting for us. The grounds are immaculate! The housekeeping staff is very thorough and quick. The front desk staff is very helpful for whatever you may need. A couple of them need a special mention this year. At the front desk, Roselynn was very helpful to us this year. She was very patient with us when we asked if we could switch to a King studio instead of 2 doubles. Also, in housekeeping, Giselle and Alise went out of their way to get our new room cleaned up when we made the switch.
Just a side note about our switching room. The guests who checked out left the King room a disaster! They trashed the room and smoked in it even though there are signs everywhere not to do so. Piles of dirty dishes, wet floors, trash everywhere, etc... Roselyn was actually embarrassed to even show us the room. We took it anyways knowing they would do a great job cleaning it up. They worked very hard to get it spotless for us. By the way, to the other guests, Please do not make the housekeeping staff's job harder by being so inconsiderate. They work very hard and there is no need to leave a room that bad. To top it off, no tip was left for the staff who had to go behind them and fix the mess. So, whomever you were in room 105 before us, shame on you!
Ok, I feel better now...back to the review.. :)
Our room was very nice. The AC was very cold, hot water was hot, and the bed was very comfortable.
The view is to die for! There is nothing like opening your curtains in the morning and seeing the beautiful Grand Case water and the quaint village coming to life each morning.
There are plenty of loungers all throughout the property so you can choose your favorite location to relax. At night you can se the lights from Anguilla across the water.
The little shop on the grounds has a good assortment of items you may need while you are visiting the resort. Marga does a great job!
The water is very calm directly in front of the ocean view rooms. It is like a large swimming pool. Plenty of calm water for children to play or adults to float around and relax. There were a few kids on property this year, but it was still very quiet and peaceful.
We rented a car to explore the island and GCBC is the perfect base while here on St Martin. It is a very short drive to any other part of the island should you want to go shopping or exploring.
The sunset cafe is very convenient! The free continental Breakfast is adequate most mornings, but they also have a great menu to order from if you want more to eat. By the way, GET THE FRENCH TOAST!
The resort is very secure. Gary (sp) and the security staff are always visible and take their job very seriously. My wife accidentally left her ipad on a lounger one day and it was promptly found and taken to the front desk. In the evening there is always a security guard on the road to town. We never had any issues or had a safety concern.
There is so much more that could be said, but suffice it to say that this is a special place. It is a place to relax and truly have a peaceful vacation. It is not a pretentious snooty resort where you are waited on hand and foot.
Please feel free to message me if you have any questions.

Room Tip: We love the Oceanfront Studios. Great view and plenty of space for a couple or small family.

We just returned from a family vacation at the Grand Case Beach Club. This is a delightful place from the setting to the people. This was our first trip to St Martin and we were looking for a place where our small grandchildren could enjoy the water. The beach was wonderful, uncrowded and calm. The rooms were comfortable and the staff was very accommodating. The Sunset Cafe served great food and hospitality. We look forward to returning.
