Wonderful on every level. Great location, easy walk to restaurants, wonderful swimming beach. Rooms were large and updated with beautiful ocean views and enough privacy. Friendly service. Decent restaurant on gorgeous setting.

We have recently returned from our third visit to this hotel/resort. It is nestled in a little corner of St. Martin and within a 10 minute walk to the area aptly called "restaurant row." GCBC will book a taxi for you at a reasonable price if you don't want to walk. GBGC is not your typical resort. It has a small beach, a tennis court, a small exercise area, and non-motorized water sports available, but it is a one of a kind charming facility. Everything at GBBC is well kept. Our delightful room overlooked the ocean and a secondary swimming area. The grounds have many plants, some labeled, all well tended, with the intent to look natural in their environment. There is a boardwalk around some of the grounds. GCBC's staff is excellent. Everyone is welcoming and friendly, and by our third visit, we almost feel like part of the family. This is a great place for a relaxing vacation. For those looking for a little more action, one can easily rent a car on site. GCBC is our "go to" vacation destination.

We just got back from 8 nights at the GCBC. This was our 4th stay there and wonderful as always! We went with my whole family, which included my 2 year old daughter. It was perfect. The location right on the beach makes it very easy with a young child and the 2-Bedroom set up was perfect for a larger group. The accommodations were clean and spacious and the kitchen worked great for making easy lunches in the room. The nearby "Simply" market was great to pick up french bread, cheeses and meats for lunch on the patio with a bottle of cold wine. My only complaint was the pull out couch downstairs that was not very comfortable. However we told the office about this and they provided us with a egg crate which helped.
I have nothing but great things to say about all the staff; from the office (Hi Ruth) to the water staff, to the Sunset Cafe (Harper misses you Sabrina!) everyone was friendly and accommodating. The location also can't be beat. You are in walking distance to all the wonderful restaurants in Grand Case. Our favorites are La Villa & Spiga.
The resort was at full capacity when we were there (during Xmas week) but it never felt crowded. A lot of guests sit right outside their rooms on the lounge chairs, and around the resort. This is not the type of resort where you need to save chairs at 6 am, which is very nice!
The GCBC is truly a magical place and we are already counting the days until we go back!

Nicely appointed "apartments". Our 3rd time here over the past 5 years, four "moms" on a restorative "treat". We hardly ever left the resort...and when we did, it was only a short walk into "town" for gourmet meals and nightlife. Rooms were very tidy, and the staff very welcoming and helpful. Small but clean beach, service with drinks/food when and if you want it. No pressure. The view is spectacular, and the restaurant is commendable, with reasonable prices.

Second time at this resort and we will go again. Nicely appointed updated units, great staff, great restaurant on premises with beautiful view of water. Pretty little mellow beach, protected bay, great for families yet still romantic for couples. Get a room with ocean view. Great restaurants a short walk in to town.

Room Tip: Upper level ocean view

We have stayed at the GCBC 4x over the last few years. We live the property and heartily recommend it. I feel compelled to jump in and counter the reviewer who complained that the property is remote. While we always rent a car it is by no means a requirement. There are so many excellent restaurants that are a short walk from the property that visitors should not hesitate to book here because they are concerned about being stuck.
